About Me
My business name is Elsa’s Pride Childcare.
I am a full time mum of three children and have over 20 years of childcare experience. I live in a four bedroom detached house in a residential area on the outskirts of Macclesfield in the village of Gawsworth. I was rated Outstanding in my last Ofsted inspection. My family room is the main room used although I do use the lounge for sleeping babies. There are cupboards and storage units with toys, games and a wide range of resource for children to use of all ages which are rotated on a regular basis or when children request something from them. I have wall displays to display the children's artwork, display photos of different activities, relevant posters and information for parents and children. The kitchen has a large dining table allowing children to help with the preparing of snacks, drinks and meals (always fully supervised) or baking activities. There is a large child friendly garden that we have access to every day from the family room patio doors. The garden is a large grassed area that goes from the back patio area with a small fence and gateway leading to the side large grassed area.
My Experience
Over 20 years of experience working as nanny, nursery nurse, mother of 3 and then most recently as a childminder. I have experience in children with language delay, asthma, coeliac disease and other allergies.
