About Me
My name is Viv Morgan I am 49 years old .I live in Waunceirch Neath. I have been childminding since 2006 since Poppy was born. My husband is a retired headmaster from a Special School in Aberdare.
We live very close to Neath College ideal if you are studying in the college.
We live in a detached house, the children are able to treat the house as their home.
My Experience
Until my daughter was born I worked in the local special school as a classroom assistant for eight years, and various primary schools before that. I also ran a local Rainbow Guide Unit for girls age 5-7,for 16 years.I also used to run a Weekend kids club in the local cinema and worked on many school holiday playschemes.
Now my time is taken up looking after Poppy and her friends.
I also help out as assistant leader in the local Brownies.
My Qualifications
I am registered with the CSSIW. Therefore I have first aid and food hygeine certificates.I have an NNEB qualification and BA Open Degree.I also have level one in British Sign Language,and many years experience with children with special needs.
My Availability
My working hours are 7.30am-5.30pm. Monday –Friday.
I may have a few vacancies in September with the Nursery children in my care moving up to full time school this leaving me with a full time place..At the moment I am only able to do school runs to Waunceirch Primary school, Neath.I am happy to look after children form other schools if they are able to be collected and brought to me. I am also available to do certain - day time - pick ups/ drop offs at Castell Nedd nursery class.

Viv is just brilliant. She will go out of her way to make my daughter feel welcome. They go to playgroups and do plenty of crafts. My daughter is 4 now and can not wait to go to Viv’s, she even wants to go on my days off. She’s always available to answer any queries you may have even on the weekend. She’s provides us with worry free childcare 😀
