Hi my name is suzanne, I am 42 years old, I live in the Cheylesmore area of Coventry. I have two boys my own 24 and 15. I love spending time with my boys and our dogs. I have an assistant that works along side me to assist in my setting, this is my mum she is also CRB checked and is first aid trained my eldest son is also registered as an assistant for holiday cover or sickness either my main assistant (my mum).
I do have pets within my setting, I feel this is an important and valued benefit to a childs learning and development. I currently have outdoor rabbits & small dogs.
I offer a wonderful home from home environment for little ones to learn and play in.
I send WhatsApp photos of your child’s progress to enable you to see and enjoy the fun we have had, in doing this this follows along side the eyfs guidelines.
I produce newsletters yearly to let all parents know what will be coming up ie.. events and activities for holidays ( school hols etc..).
I am very into arts and crafts, anything from painting to making models out of anything and everything. I love watching childs faces as they develop there new skills.
I have a full clean driving licence and do plan outings. I do try and plan lots for all school holiday cover to enable not only play but educational learning as well.
I am local to parks and to a duck pond which I visit with the children. I attend regular toddler groups once a week & we also attend a gymnastics class for little ones 2 and over this is a excellent was for them to learn core skills at an early age. These groups and classes also help in socialising with others children in larger group settings.
My Experience
I am a Ofsted registered childminder, on my ofsted inspection I received Good February 2020 & outstanding August 2015. My setting is warm and friendly, I have a lovely group of children we enjoy play days and also attend regular toddler groups. I work very closely with my local pre- school and nurseries to help in early years educational learning with themes and activities. I try to work with these as some children may have just missed school by a few months or even less, so this is key for me in helping these children stay on track with there learning and development while in my care.

My son started with Suzanne in January just before turning one. As a first-time mum, I was incredibly nervous about letting anyone other than myself care for my child. I spoke with several childminders and viewed a few nurseries, but Suzanne was the most helpful from the very first message. I felt at ease and like I'd known Suzanne for years from the first time we met.
Suzanne is wonderful and is more than happy to help answer any questions I have whether that be childcare related or just a general question about my baba.
Finn is happy and thriving and I'm sure he'll continue to do so during his time with Suzanne, which will hopefully be until he begins school!

It will be my daughters last day at Suzanne's tomorrow then she moves up to school in September, after being with Suzanne for the past 2.5 years.
Feeling emotional and sad is an understatement. Both myself and my daughter will miss Suzanne so much, Suzanne has not just been our childminder she has also been apart of our family.
If you are looking for a childminder for your little one I cannot recommend Suzanne enough, the work she does with all the children and the time she takes in and out of the setting is out of this world. Suzanne has given my daughter experiences she would not have got anywhere else, and it is thanks to Suzanne and her family that my daughter is the lovely little girl she is today :)
The setting Suzanne offers, the passion and pride she takes in her work and the kindness she has towards the children is nothing but the best. In my opinion she is one of the best childminders out there.

From our first conversation I knew we would get on with Suzanne and I was so excited to see suzannes setting. It was also so nice to meet her mum Maureen who assists her with the children on aome days. Suzanne was so professional, organised, friendly and reassuring with any questions I had was never a bother for her to answer.
Suzanne took no time to send me videos and photos via WhatsApp of her home setting and
various activities she has done with the children,
and later arranged for us to see her home and meet face to face. By doing this it put me at ease and she really welcomed us into her home. Her home is beautifully laid out for the children of various ages, no matter the weather there is lots for the children to do, and you can tell that alot of effort has gone in to this, the home is clean & tidy with a warm friendly atmosphere. Suzanne also has 4 dogs and 2 rabbits which is lovely and I wanted my son to be used to different animals. Suzanne really lives up to her outstanding ofsted inspection report! I now can relax and cannot wait for my son to start with her later on this year.

I found Suzanne from searching through, and oh my gosh i’m glad I did!
Her setting is absolutely brilliant, set up for all ages, my 17 month old (at the time of starting) settled straight in with no worries. She has come on leaps and bounds so quickly too.
The daily activities are so imaginative and creative you can see how much all the children enjoy themselves.
Never a dull day, and it doesn’t stop there, day trips out to toddler groups and outings.
I know my little girl has a fantastic time, the smile she has on her face :)
An amazing childminder and absolute asset to anyones child. I would certainly recommend Suzanne x

Finding a suitable childminder amongst the many that are out there was daunting but when we contacted Suzanne, we knew we had found the person we wished to care for our little boy. From the first meeting, Suzanne was very professional but with the kind, nurturing qualities any parent would wish for. Approaching our son’s start date, Suzanne organised several Induction days whereby our son was given time to settle in and meet the other children- he throughly enjoyed these sessions and we instantly knew he would be in great hands! Each session he is there, we receive wonderful photos and feedback in regards to his day. It is clear that Suzanne is passionate about her job and her aim is to make every child in her care feel loved and safe. Highly recommend.

On our quest to find a childminder we came across Suzanne. From initially speaking with her she made me feel comfortable and at ease. We went to view her setting which was homely and I really like that she works with her Mum. Suzanne showed us the monthly books she does for each child, which shows what the little ones have been up to, which I'm really looking forward to seeing.

Suzanne is an amazing Childminder and there’s no one I’d trust more with my kids.
My daughter has loved being one of Suzanne’s littles during her time here and we’re gutted to be removing her purely due to our upcoming relocation, otherwise we’d be taking Suzanne with us.
She cares so much and goes above and beyond to educate her littles and make it so much fun. Words can’t express how amazing she really is.

I have recently met Suzanne in my quest to find childcare! I found this hard as my little on is only 6 months of age, however. From speaking to her on the phone for half an hour initially I knew we would get on and was excited to see her setting. Put me at ease and really welcomed us into her home. Home which is beautifully laid out for the children & lots of effort has gone in to this, friendly, clean & tidy atmosphere. Suzanne really lives up to her outstanding ofsted inspection report! I now cannot wait for my daughter to start her new adventure ????

Suzanne is a really lovely lady! Loads of toys and activities for the children to play with and learn.
Such a friendly atmosphere and lovely house/ garden!
