Positive and loving with a passion for supporting children to be happy, healthy and well-behaved and encouraging a love of exploration and learning in every child.
I’ve cared for children from infants to 8 years old, but I'm particularly inspired by the under 5s age group and I’ve supported multiple families to care for their children from infancy through to school stage, with all the milestones in between (weaning, walking, talking, potty training, reading etc.)
I am experienced in looking after multiple children of varying ages, e.g. baby and toddler sibling and I have also cared for twins and triplets.
I like to keep children active and enjoy spending time outside in nature. Some activities depending on age could include: games, dancing, yoga and mindfulness, scavenger hunts, water play etc. Cooking, baking and gardening are all great activities with children too, even toddlers.
For infants, focusing on sensory exploration, music, communication (including signing), hitting milestones at their own pace but with encouragement and the support to do so.
