My Summary
About Me
Not currently available!
I love kids and have special interest working caring for babies up to the first years of school age. I have been working as a nanny for over 13 years and it has been very rewarding being able to somehow contribute with their development, fun and safety. Each and every child that I looked after have a place in my heart, I'm sure the families feel the same towards me.
I live in South West London and just love this area and I'm very familiar with local parks, playgrounds, libraries, children's play centres, swimming pools etc. I am open to quite a few areas in South West London as I live in Putney Heath so easy access to Southfields, Wandsworth, Earlsfield, Wimbledon, Fulham, Barnes as well as Putney of course. I have an E-bike as my main source of transport.
I understand there are different ways of parenting and there are different ways of nannying as well. If you're looking for someone to care for your child, worrying about whether they've eaten well or concerned about that little rash they have, or whether they've had a good time at the playground, letting them being children, making a bit of a mess with play doh or baking a cake, being like an aunt to them, that's me. If you're looking for a teacher, I'm probably not your match.
I am a mother myself. I believe my mum instinct is very helpful too when it comes to looking after kids specially of young age. I worry with every fever and every bump. I take pride on being part of their everyday lives and being there watching them grow, reaching their own milestones and developing.
Please get in touch with me if you'd like more information.
All the best!
My Experience
Looked after a 1 year old boy three days a week, filling our days with outings to the park or local soft play. Fun is also had at his house where he absolutely loves playing with his toys, read his books. While he has his nap, I tend to either cook, vacuum the floor where we stay the most, or do his laundry, being as helpful as I can. Job ended at the end of December 2023 due to the little one, now being 2 1/2 years old, starting nursery.
2 days a week nanny - looking after two boys aged 1 and 4. Taking the eldest to nursery, mornings were usually spent with the youngest at the local playgroups. Back home for lunch and whilst the youngest had his nap, I'd be preparing fresh nutritious meals. Afternoons were spent in the nearby playgrounds, usually meeting some of the boys friends. September 2019 till March 2020 when lockdown took place.
2 days a week nanny - looking after another set of twins. From the age of 2 1/2. We have lots of fun going to playgroups and local libraries, parks, etc. The twins are a pleasure to look after. Their potty training was started by the mom and I just continued on my work days, it was surprisingly easy. From January 2017 to January 2018.
Full time nanny - looking after twins, from 10 months old, on very long days basis. Love them very much and they're in an extremely organised routine. We enjoyed the summer to the most as they live on a lovely area with a brilliant playground. I help from finishing their breakfast throughout the day on sole care up to when the mum comes home and then we get them bathed / put in bed for the night. Hard work but loads of fun! From June to October.
English Teacher for children abroad – Worked in a nursery/ pre school in Brazil, giving English lessons to children from age of 2 up to 5. From April 2015 to April 2016.
Babysitter – Worked as an ad hoc babysitter for quite a few international families, mostly English speakers, in Hamburg, Germany. From January 2014 to March 2015.
Full Time Nanny - Job tasks: Full time care of a 5 month old baby girl, making sure she was fed and clean and had her so needed naps as well as entertainment such as free play at home or reading a book together and local playgroups. I looked after this little one whilst looking after my own daughter as well who is 6 months older and so they grew up together and developed a very deep friendship, more like two little sisters. I'm well aware that looking after multiple kids of similar age can be demanding but it is so worth it as they only benefit from each other's company. I also believe it is very important to stick to a routine. From: April/2012 till October 2013. We are still very much in contact and the little girl and my daughter are still like sisters even though we lived away for a good while.
Full Time Nanny - Job tasks: Look after a 3 and a half year old boy and a 5 month old baby boy, taking them to nursery, playgroups, swimming lessons, play dates, cooking for them, etc. This was a full time job, and that meant I got to spend a lot of time with the boys and watched them grow so much, specially the little one; I saw him learning to sit, to crawl, to eat solids, to walk and speak the first words. They were both beautiful kids and everything was so much fun for them, even going to the local supermarket or going to a café. The older boy was a very typical boy, loved all the superheroes, but was very gentle with me, his mum and his girlfriends. The little one was a happy typical baby boy who loved Thomas the tank engine and Buzz light year. From April/2010 till April 2011 – The job ended when both my employer and I were due to have our babies who were born 18 days apart.
Nanny/Mother’s help – Job tasks: Look after a one year old girl, take her to playgrounds around her house, give her bath, give her lunch and put her to bed for a nap. This job started with only 2 hours per week and it was increased after a while, as we got along well and the mum needed more help as the second baby was coming. From July/2009 till August 2010.
Nanny/Mother’s help – Job tasks: Look after a one year old lovely girl, take her to playgroups or to the park when weather allowed, give her lunch, change nappies, sing nursery rhymes, basically play with her and keep her happy in a safe environment. From November/2008 till September/2009.
Nanny/Mother’s help – Pick up 4 year old boy from nursery, give him a snack, and play all different kinds of “boy’s” games with him, such as football, play dough, drawing, cars, ride bikes etc. In the mean time, 10 year old brother would also arrive from school, so I would prepare him a tea, before mum or dad comes back home. Job also includes help with tidying up and laundry. From September/2008 till December 2010 – After that, I kept contact with the family and babysat for them occasionally.

Amarilis was our PT nanny for our 3 month old baby and she was so sweet, super attentive and just showered our babe with love. Amarilis was very reliable and punctual, which is a huge asset. the only reason she is no longer with us is that we moved out of London.
