About Me

I live in a four bedroom house with my 30 year old son hes wife and 2 grandchildren both whom work full time .

I have been looking after children for 28 as a registered childminder , I aim to create a warm , friendly environment for both children and their parents , I ensure to build a strong understanding of your expectations and needs for your child , I have cared for children from 6 months old to 12 / 13 years of age . I am fully first aid trained and hold an NVQ level 3 in childcare and an NVQ level 2 in food safety. I have a great passion for my job and the children's wellbeing and happiness is central to everything I do whilst they are in my care .

there is a good size garden fitted with artificial grass for the children's safety and leisure , we have lots of garden toys and a shaded play area to keep the children out of the sun .

I have a large varity of toys where children can learn, colours shapes numbers... also a lot of imaginative play toys. Garden house, cars, bikes, dolls, prams, noisy toys, so the children can also learn in all areas

I regualry plan my days with the children, weather always pemitted, activities I do with the children include flash cards, sing songs, learn counting. The children have a lot of free time to play also.

I attend at least three baby & toddler groups per week so the children can socialise with other children these centers usually have soft play , outdoor play areas

Depending on what time the chiildren start each day I will provide breakfast, lunch and nutritional snacks throughout the day I also provide the children with a dinner. I am more the happy to adopt any special eating plans and or diets that your child requires . if you would like to hear from current or previous parents , or even children of whom I cared for over 20years ago please feel free to request a reference as I have kept in touch with all parents and children who have been in my care over the years .
