I am an outgoing, professional and kind hearted nanny. I am trustworthy and flexible and love to become part of the family.
l am ofsted registered.
I am 44 years old and live in Stevenage, but as I hold a full clean driving licence I would be willing to travel up to 30mins from home.
I enjoy to spend time with children, it is such a rewarding job and I love the variety each day brings.
I am keen to take children to music groups, mother and toddler, swimming and storytime at the library and to be out and about at the park or on playdates etc to develop thier personal and social skills.
I like to think that I am paitent and have a good sense of humour which I feel is a must when working with children.
I love to be involved in arts and crafts, cooking and enjoy to be snuggled up on the sofa reading story after story!!
In my personal life I compete in sequence dance which is similar to ballroom, I love reading,cooking and watching films.
My friends and family are very important to me and I enjoy nothing more than spending time with them.
My Experience
I have been a nanny for 24 years now. I have looked after children ranging from newborns to 10 years in a sole charge role.
The longest I have been in one position is 8 years. I am keen to find a position offering at least a couple of years stability.
I have nannied for a child with Autism and ADHD and also a child with a severe nut allergy.
I have experience with looking after mutiple children with my busiest being a nanny share with 4 children under 3.
I have experience of preparing fresh healthy food for weaning, toilet training and establishing routines.
My duties have included childrens laundry and ironing(including bed linen), maintaining tidy and clean bedrooms and playrooms.
Letter and Number recognition with pre - scholers and help with homework for older children

Sue has worked for us for the last three years and I cannot recommend her highly enough. I have three children and they all adore her. Sue is patient; reliable; flexible and caring. She cooks wonderful food for my children (most of whom are vegetarian); takes them to numerous clubs and happily has their friends over to play. My youngest child has had some speech delays and Sue recognised this, took him to see a speech therapist and has worked really hard with him to practice his sounds - without this hard work he would be starting reception in September with a much lower standard of language than he has now. Sue is also great at doing homework with my older two children and ensuring in particular that they know their spellings every week. She produces some amazingly creative homework projects with the kids and is always happy to help them and play games with them.

I am Susan's current employer and I hope she finds another post that will fit in with our current arrangmets. She is a fantastic Nanny that my 3 children have all grown very fond of. My 4 year old said the other day "I love Susan nearly as much as you Mummy". Like any mother I was quitely quite gutted but over the moon that she felt that way.
