My Experience

My most recent role consisted of caring for 2 girls (aged 2 & 4 on starting) as a sole charge nanny.
Prior to this involved caring part time for twins aged 9 months on starting.
Also working as a sole charge nanny for identical twins aged 1 on starting for over 2 years.
I am responsible for day to day care, washing and dressing them taking them to local clubs and activities, preparing meals, snacks, creating activities to develop learning and much more.
Prior to this I worked as a sole charge nanny caring for 2 children and had been with the family for nearly 3 years.
I was responsible for the general care of the children, planning activities, preparing meals, taking them to clubs and outings, arranging activities and play dates as well as general help around the house.
This job has given me independence, flexibility & opportunity to give the children my attention and help support them with their development.
I am highly experienced with working with children and have experience working in a variety of settings and with children of different ages.
I have worked in a private day nursery for the last 4 years and with ages 0-4 years.
I have also worked within pre school, after school clubs, holiday clubs settings. In my spare time in the past I also assisted and led dance classes with ages 4- 14years which I feel helped provide valuable experience.

I am highly confident and competent as a babysitter and have babysat for numerous families within the area. I have had the responsibility for children aged 6 weeks to 7 years within the daytime as well as evenings.

Within the nursery I worked within the preschool room, toddler room of children aged 2-3years as the role of joint room leader.
I spent several years in the baby room of age 0- 18months as deputy and room leader.
The role consisted of caring for the children, preparing snacks and meals, bottles, being aware of allergies, liaising with parents, observing children, planning for their development, making the children feel settled and happy, completing learning journeys, following the EYFS.
I have additionally worked as a session leader for a sensory music class.
I also have experience looking after twins in a sole charge role.
