About Me
I live in Swinton near Rotherham with my husband Simon and our three children Niamh 21, Niall 16,and 9 year old Shay. I live in a semi detached house with a secure, private garden to the rear of the property. We have a pet cat called Paddy and a Small dog names Minnie. I offer a wide range of both indoor and outdoor play with a wide variety of age and stage appropriate toys, equipment and activities. I visit a local childminders group regularly, i also attend a playgroup one day a week, giving children an opportunity to experience physical indoor and outdoor play in a safe, soft play area. We enjoy visiting local parks, the library and nature walks through the wood, taking full advantage of the local amenities within our community. My premises are a smoke free environment. I hold a current, clean driving license and have the relevant insurance in place to operate my childcare service. My house and public liability insurance are all also to date.
My Experience
I have a degree in art in education which involved placements in nurseries and primary schools, working with children. I then worked for Rotherham borough as a library assistant and enjoyed taking story time with the school classes which regularly attended our library and also taking craft sessions with children during the school holidays. I worked as a childminders assistant for three years and became a registered childminder in July 2011 after having our third child. I currently have 6 part time children within my care.
My Qualifications
I am Ofsted registered and was graded Good in my inspection. I have completed the childminders pre-registration course. I have all my required training, paediactric first aid, child protection and food hygiene. I have attended other courses related to my childcare service and my training is ongoing. I aslo have a degree in Art In Education for Three To Eight Year Olds.
My Availability
I offer full and part time childcare. I also provide before and after school care and school pick up/ drop off at Brookfield school. I operate term time and during school holidays. My opening times are Monday to Friday 7.00 am to 6pm, but these times are flexible.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.08 per hour
I charge a daily rate to a maximum of £40 day for a full time place (10 hours) and part time places are charged at £4.08 / hour. Snacks and drinks are all provided free. Meals (Breakfast, lunch and dinner), if required, are charged at £1 breakfast, £1.50 lunch, £1.50 dinner. Fees for play groups ect. are included although certain outings may incurr a fee for admission ect
I am registered With the local authority to provide Free places for early education funding for 2, 3 and four-year-olds
