My son loves going to Gail's

When I first contacted Gail enquiring about a space and the services provided, I was given all the information promptly.

Gail took her time and went through everything with me. She was also very accommodating when it came to settles for my little boy.

The home environment was so warm and welcoming. Gail has a wide variety of both indoor and outdoor toys for the children.
My little boy settled in right away.

My son gets so excited when I tell him he's off to Gail's. This is reassuring for me, when I am dropping him off while I go to work.

Gail also provides updates throughout the day of what activities they have been up to via pictures and messages.

Seeing the bond they have is lovely.

I would highly recommended.

Excellent

Gail has looked after both of my children since they were babies. My eldest now in school, asks to visit Gail frequently as she has become part of the family.

I have no reservations about recommending Gail as a childminder.

Please rest assured that any communications I’ve had over the past 4 years in which my children have attended have been seamless.

Removed from waiting list and cancelled meeting

Terrible...! I was so overjoyed to hear from goal that she had a Monday to Thursday place available which I could be put on her waiting list. I scheduled to meet her twice and she cancelled on extremely short notice, the first time telling me her daughter had toothache and the second telling me she now only had 2 days available. This is after weeks of communication, sorting funding and informing my daughters nursery.

Despite telling me I had a place. For Nov 1st she offered these hours instead to a parent already on her books. Although that's her perogative, there was absolutely zero communication and no reply to texts sent.

Absolutely not someone I would feel comfortable leaving my daughter with considering the severe lack of communication and information.

Nicola, I’m sorry to hear you left a negative review when we have not even yet met. I would like to confirm that I did not offer you a space - I only told you what availability I had at present. With regards to funding, i explained to you how a transfer request would work; at your request and explained that it would have to go to a meeting at the council who would decide if it is approved. Nothing had been put in place as a space is not confirmed until a visit has taken place, and both parties are happy to proceed and it has been agreed by the council that a transfer of funding can take place: and the the transfer forms signed by both providers. I did say i had spaces available and we arranged for you to come visit so we could meet each other. Unfortunatly i could not predict my daughter would wake that morning with a broken tooth that needed attention from a dentist. I did contact you first thing to let you know; I appologise if this upset you.
As for the space, as explained to you a current parent required it and as per my policies current parents take priority for spaces. Thanks for your enquiry

My son loves her!

My little boy is 2 and started going to Gail about 6/7 months ago. She was so welcoming and lovely that he settled in really quickly and really enjoyed going there. He used to be in a bigger nursery and every morning drop off with tears and upset but he’ll walk into Gail’s happy as Larry! They have a lovely bond and he is so well taken care of. He eats and naps better than he ever does at home and comes home tired from a busy day of fun. She has also been super flexible and helpful during all this COVID madness. I highly recommend Gail’s services and have even increased my own days. She will also text you regularly throughout the day and send pictures and videos of the kids having a great time for that extra reassurance.

A wonderful childminder

My daughter has been going to Gail since she was 11 months old. She always has a wonderful time and loves to play with the other children, including Gail’s girls who are excellent with her.

Gail has a variety of both indoor and outdoor toys and activities for the children. We receive daily updates on the things our daughter has been doing that day and we love the photos/videos that Gail sends us.

Gail prepares the children healthy snacks and lunch which our daughter enjoys. Gail takes on board the children’s likes and dislikes and has worked with us to keep our daughter’s routine similar to how it would be at home.

Gail has established a fabulous relationship with our daughter and we know that she is going to have a great day with Gail which gives us comfort.

Lovely childminder and family

My daughter has been going to Gail since she was a year old. Going back to work after maternity leave was an anxious time and I wasn’t sure about leaving my daughter with someone else. I shouldn’t have been worried at all, Gail has been great with my daughter and she loves going there. I feel happy in knowing that Gail is going to take good care of my daughter while I’m at work and my daughter absolutely loves it. I feel she has come along leaps and bounds and there’s always a variety of activities during the day to keep the children entertained. Gail keeps my updated throughout the day with photos, videos and messages and they are always great to see.

Gail and her family are really lovely and I would highly recommend.

Welcoming home

My boy has been going to Gail since he was 10months. He has always loved going to her welcoming home and loved playing with her family and other children in her care. She is always thinking of extras and extending the fun for all her children. Lots of lovely outdoor learning for example Forest School sessions, Muddy Kitchen, planting. I love getting pictures of what he is getting up to throughout the day.

Excellent childminder

Would highly recommend, Gail is excellent at what she does makes the parent feel at ease and the child. I put my son Ethan with Gail when he was just 1 and was the best thing I did. He came out his shell and was happier than ever he got to make new friends, and got to go out to parks and go for walks and attended different classes bookbug soft play centres etc. I was always made to feel Ethan was safe and cared for. Ethan loved being With Gail and also grew close to her 2 girls who are just so lovely and caring. My son always had a smile when getting dropped of in the mornings and I regularly got updates throughout the day what my little boy was up to and pictures of him playing and eating haha. If I ever have another child I would not hesitate sending them to Gail where I no they will be loved and well looked after.

My 2 year old daughter Georgie has been with Gail since January and it has been the best decision we made. Georgie absolutely loves going to Gail’s and loves her two girls also.
Her home is ideal for young kids with plenty of room, a fantastic garden and plenty of fun and educational toys.
Gail has helped so much with a routine for Georgie and sends me regular updates and pictures while at work letting me know what she is up to and eating and her nap times etc which helps put me at ease. Georgie used to attend a nursery and she just didn’t take to it at all, she would scream every morning when we drove up outside which made going to work very stressful and made me anxious all day, now we drive in to Gail’s estate and she shouts “Gail, where are you?” What a difference.
Gail regularly attends book bug, toddler groups, softplay and the park which I love, it’s great she is having so much fun even when I’m at my work.
I really feel that Gail and her family have welcomed Georgie in to their home and their lives and she has came along leaps and bonds since then.
It’s a long way off but I don’t want to ever say bye to Gail.
Would highly recommend Gail to anyone.

Great Childminder

Gail is wonderful with my daughter Amara, they go on frequent day trips to the park and regularly attend different local groups (bookbug etc). Her home is perfect for children, lots of space to play and a very toddler/child friendly garden. I am confident that every day Amara spends with Gail she is having a great time.

Going back to work after maternity leave was always going to be an anxious time especially for a first time mum leaving my daughter with a non family member for the first time but Gail has been great, sending me updates and photos throughout the day to put my mind at ease.

Amara loves going to Gail’s, playing with the other children and has come on great in the last few months. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Gail to other parents.
