About Me
I am a qualified primary school teacher with many years' experience in childcare for early years. After working for over six years as an Ofsted registered childminder, we relocated in South Somerset. I have successful, consistent experience in childcare of children aged 2 months to 11 years old. Before childminding, I had worked as an after school nanny and before that I had a small English language school abroad.
At the moment I have availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. I am also available for babysitting on weekends.
Enabling children's development and
I offer working in partnership with parents to provide the most attentive care catered to children's needs and interests . I enjoy motivating children to grow and learn, creating a happy and safe environment, whether indoors or outside. I provide a range of engaging activities based on the children's interest. I am keen on the Montessori approach to learning. Since I have knowledge of the National Curriculum, I also offer tutoring and help with homework and home schooling to primary school-age children.
My Experience
I was an Ofsted Registered Childminder until 2018, when I decided to gain experience in schools as a Teaching Assistant. I am now a qualified primary school teacher with solid experience in early years' children. I also have a BA degree in Education from the University of Worcester.
I have over 20 years’ experience in working with children of various ages as a school tutor abroad. I have training in early years development and a thorough understanding of their needs according to their age. References upon request.

My Qualifications
PGCE primary qualification.
BA Education.
Foundation Degree in Teaching and Learning.
As a former qualified Registered Childminder, I completed the Level 2CACHE.
Paediatric First Aid (renewable every three years).
Food Hygiene and Safeguarding Lead (renewable every two years).
My Availability
Monday and Friday all day, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
Babysitting offered on weekends and during half-term holidays.
