Our daughter had always struggled with large group settings, strangers and change so it was important for us to find a childminder who would be sensitive to this, but also offer opportunities for her to grow in confidence. We knew Marianne was a perfect fit for us when, upon meeting for the first time, our daughter didn't shed a single tear-even when Marianne picked her up. Our daughter's happiness and safety is of utmost importance to us, the fact that she felt so secure having only met Marianne once immediately filled us with confidence. Marianne has an excellent rapport with the children she works with, she really does treat them like her own children. Our daughter sees Marianne twice a week and we receive updates throughout the day.In our opinion, Marianne provides a very high level of childcare. Her rapport with the children and her ability to respond to their individual needs with care and compassion is second to none. She provides a calm, safe space for our daughter to learn and grow at her own pace.

Where do i start..... From the minute i spoke to Marianne on the phone i just knew she was the best for my boys and would care for them like i would, and when going to meet Marianne at her home it just confirmed my feelings were 100% correct.
Marianne is so lovely and made my partner and i feel so so comfortable leaving our boys with her.
My boys loved her from day 1 and would always talk about her at home. This also filled me with happiness and confidence to know they where happy and comfortable in Mariannes care.
Marianne would constantly being taking them to parks, garden centres, walks etc. Plenty of toys at her home and a lovely garden to play in. Mariannes house is lovely with plenty of space and very clean.
Would recommend Marianne to anyone, as i know from experience that she is kind, caring, fun and overall her dedication to children in her care is outstanding.

She looked after my kids for four years, me and my wife found her professional and very caring person.And I recommend her anyone who needs childcare.

Marianne looked after both of my daughters from the ages of 6 months old and through Primary School. She is kind, considerate, and genuinely cares about all the children she looks after. My girls adored her and she became a close family friend. Even though we have since moved away the girls still talk very fondly of the time they spend in Marianne's care and have kept in touch with her. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

My name is Mia and I am a nineteen year old student living in Brighton. Marianne looked after me for the first 11 years of my life, and played a massive part in shaping and teaching me as a child. I want to say that there are no words to describe how wonderful my time spent with Marianne was, but actually I would be wrong in saying that. There simply just aren't enough words to do her justice. She is an incredibly kind, gentle and calming woman, this for me is what I remember most about her. Not only is Marianne a very caring childminder, she also became a confidant, a safe space and most importantly of all, a friend. Still almost nine years on, Marianne and I keep in frequent contact, and we plan to hopefully see one another soon. A couple of my friends have had babies, and if Marianne still lived where she childminded me, I would be sending my friends her way with no qualms or worries. I cannot recommend Marianne's childminding abilities enough.

We first sent our little girl to Marianne at the age of 3, I was nervous as we were leaving your little one with someone new who we only Knew from a visit and phone call, but i shouldn’t have been as from the word go she was the most amazing kind lady you could meet.. lovely with our daughter, treated her as if she were her own grandchild, really flexible to our mad work schedules too!!!
I was so sad to have to call Marianne and let her know in July that due to Covid we would be working from home more so didn’t need her to have our now 7 year old. or drop / collect her from school... however should the world go back to the Norm we won’t hesitate to go Back to Marianne...I would recommend her to anyone... she has been absolutely brilliant. An absolute star..

Marianne has been looking after our two young boys for over 18 months now. She is so experienced, caring and reliable, always full of ideas for fun things to do. She has become an extension to our family and we all love her. If you’re looking for a real gem to care for your little one(s) then look no further! :)
