My name is Farrah, I have been childminding for 18 years and have 19 years experience with caring for children. Our recent inspection February 2024 we were graded good! We are based just by bloxwich high street, so there is plenty of transportation links to us! I work along side 2x assistants so we are able to care for a few more children than childminders. I have three children of my own boy who's 19, 2xgirls who's are 13 and 4.
I offer a clean, non-smoking and welcoming home with a wide range of educational and fun toys for both indoor and outdoor.
I have dealt with a lot of first times parents who are very nervous/anxious about leaving their child, I understand as I had to do it my self with my own when he was a baby. I have good working relationships with all my parents and their families and make time to discuss any worries/concerns that they may have.
I have a Diploma in childcare, and have completed my NVQ Level 3 CYPWF, and NVQ level 5 in leadership & management in social care and children's services. I have attended many courses with Early Years which do include First Aid and child protection. I have spent 6 months within a nursery setting as manager so I have plenty of experience within the childcare sector. I was also a childminder mentor to help new childminders through the process of starting their new roles, also to support and advise.

My aim as a childminder is.......
- To provide hours that suit parents.
- A friendly atmosphere where ALL children are welcome.
- A wide range of toys and equipment to suit all needs, ages and stages of development in children.
- I provide ALL children with a healthy balanced diet.
- I work towards OFSTEDS standards.
- I have all policies in place which include, Health and hygiene, Equal opportunities, Behavior management, Child protection, Medication, Visits and outings, and Sickness.
- I have all relevant procedures and plans in place which include, Fire evacuation plan, Accident procedure, Activity plan and Healthy eating.
-I have all the relevant permission forms in place which include, Photo permission, Car permission, Outing and trip permission forms.
- I work in partnership with parents and share information on a daily basis.
- I attend regular ongoing training.
- I evaluate all the children activities and improve them if needed.have anof.
My Experience
17 years experience with young children, nursery management leading a team of staff.
My Qualifications
I have worked very hard over the last 5 years and have gained my NVQ level 3 within childcare and NVQ level 5 in leadership and management within nursery and residential settings.
My Availability
Any Holidays booked, parents are given at least 4 weeks notice.

We have 3 older boys and our little girl was a very unexpected but very wanted surprise! As I'm sure you can imagine, having 3 boys and then a princess made choosing a childcare provider that much harder but Farrah was fantastic from the off. Great at communicating but not pushy - we arranged a visit at a time which suited and had good vibes straight away. The children in her care were happy and smiling and that was the biggest pull for us and we haven't looked back. Farrah and her team are friendly, caring and our daughter is thriving there. They've helped us through weaning and teething, provide great feedback and my daughter loves going. I couldn't recommend Farrah any more highly!

My son has been with Farrah for nearly 6 months now. He has settled in well, he has great fun as the other children are all similar ages too. Farrah and the girls did lovely gifts for mother days which was a lovely touch. Crafts and outside play are organised. Great communication and everyone always so friendly.

My twin's have been attending Cheeky Charlie's for around 8 months. They are both very happy and settled here the staff are so lovely, friendly and happy. Both my babies are happy and go in with smiles and open arms. I can see they both are both settled there and enjoy being there. There is lot's for them to do and play with and the staff interaction keeps them busy and entertained. Farrah and the girls take the time to do lovely art and crafts for special occasions like Christmas and Easter with the babies feet and hand prints which is a nice touch and a lovely keepsake. Both my babies seem happy and very settled here would highly recommend to all.

My daughter has been going to cheeky Charlie’s for just over a year now and she loves going, always asking when she’s next going back. I was very nervous sending my daughter to childcare for the first time but every time I messaged to see how she was I was always reassured and every time I pick up she’s always got the biggest smile on her face. When my daughter comes home she always says she been in the garden and sometimes in the swimming pool when it’s nice outside. Farrah and the other girls who work there are lovely and have treated my daughter like one of their own! I couldn’t recommend cheeky Charlie’s enough!

My little boy has been going to cheeky Charlie’s since he was 4 months old and is now 2. This was my first time ever using childcare and I was really nervous and my anxiety was high.
Farrah is such a lovely person and she reassured me about everything. She offered settling in sessions for a few hours to see how he got on and I was so happy with how much he enjoyed it. My boy is thriving, he is always so happy to be dropped off and smiling away when I collect him. She keeps me updated on how he is getting on and has become such a special person in my boys life. Always talks about how much fun he has. I couldn’t highly recommend her anymore. If your a nervous anxious mom and you need someone to trust to take care of your little one then cheeky Charlie’s is definitely for you. Your mind will definitely will be at ease.

Our little boy has been with Farrah for almost a year now and we continue to be really pleased with the care he receives. She is so caring towards him and Farrah is truly passionate about caring for children. She facilitates some lovely play and learning experiences for the children and does her upmost to keep their routine. I would fully recommend Farrah to any parents looking for a homely environment for their children.

We found Farrah’s after our baby’s first nursery shut down overnight. Farrah invited us in and we knew from the first meeting that our baby would be happy, healthy, and engaged there. The other children there were very playful and welcoming to her, and she approached Farrah without her usual hesitancy.
She started at Farrah’s very soon after that first visit. Her appetite has improved, she has become more playful and talkative, and comes home happy and chatty. Farrah provides helpful updates at the end of the day and can provide open, clear answers to any questions. She also works with us to address any issues or concerns.
A brilliant childcare provider who shows she cares about children and their development every day!

My son has been with Farrah from around 10 months. He is now 13 months and really enjoys going there. When we pull up outside the house, he is always kicking his legs and excited to go in. I love the fact that Farrah is only a text message away and has treated my son as if he is one of her own children. I can’t recommend enough!

My little one has been with Farrah since she was 5.5 months old. She is almost 10 months and really flourishing. She loves the environment and gets excited when I drop her off which shows me she is happy there. She is ahead of her milestones and as a first time mum Farrah has communicated every stage with me to help me support her development and to ensure she gets consistency out of all her caregivers. I trust her wholeheartedly with my little one and would recommend her services to anyone.

my daughter who’s 3 has been going to Farrah since February and I have nothing negative to say because my daughter just absolutely loves every second there! Farrah is so lovely and chatty and my daughter comes home with plenty of stories to tell about her days she spends there! 100% recommend! you’re children are in very safe hands
