Fab childminder

I have been a client of Lisa’s since 2019 when my son had just turned 2, and my daughter joined in 2020 after she turned 1. Lisa and Lee have been fab and the drop off and pick up at West Town Lane school has been such a great help.
They have a great set up at their home and in their garden, giving lots of choice of play and learning to the children.
Both my son and daughter have and continue to enjoy going there, making friends as well.
They go above and beyond, their service has been a great help to us and we’re very happy we found Lisa to be out childminder.

Best of the best

My daughter joined with Lisa, Lee, Hollie & Paige when she was 7 months old and it was the best decision I could have made.

My daughter has excelled massively being with Lisa and she absolutely loves going and spending two days a week there. The food is great, all fresh prepared by Lee and Lisa themselves.

I personally love how all the parents are in a private Facebook group where photos, videos and milestones are shared. Being a first time Mum I was very new to everything and I can say that Lisa has been almost like family to me with giving advice and guidance and steering me in the right direction with my daughters development.

One in a million Childminder

We have used Lisa and Lee’s childminding services for over 10 years with all three of our daughters. I really wouldn’t go anywhere else, we feel that our children have always been very well looked after in a safe and caring environment. Lisa and her team are attentive to all our childrens needs and development.

Our 2 year old daughter is currently in Lisa’s care 3 days a week all day long, we have recently moved to 26 miles away and we still decide to use Lisa as we feel our daughter is flourishing and she very much enjoys every day she spends at Lisa’s. Our daughter always leaves Lisa’s and Lee’s care in a brilliant mood, smiling and full of Joy.

Lisa has lots of toys for all development ages, an amazing outdoor space for play. I also like that Lisa will put my child down in a cot to sleep upstairs and don’t use mats.

I would absolutely recommend Lisa and Lee. ☺️

Amazing!

I feel so lucky to have found Lisa and Lee. I highly recommend them!
My son has been with Lisa now for 2 and a half years. He looks forward to going everyday!

I’m always kept up to date on what he’s doing during the day. Lisa organises some really creative activities that my son loves. There’s lots of variety in the activities. Lisa has a great set up with indoor and outdoor space.
They take the children out to various different places, local parks and toddler groups etc.

The food is prepared from scratch and is really nutritious and varied. My son is willing to try all sorts of food and has a really varied diet. The children are encouraged to help prepare food and clear up after themselves, which is brilliant!

Lisa provides great guidance on my sons development, such as potty training and dressing himself. It’s so helpful to use Lisa’s great knowledge to understand when my son is ready to take these steps. Lisa is so proactive, it really helps me!

Highly recommended

My daughter started with Lisa and Lee aged 9 months. The transition of returning to work was daunting but was successful due to their support and reassurance.

I have ultimate confidence that my daughter is well looked after in their care. She thrives in their environment, and always comes home happy, which is all any parent wishes for.

They always do a range of activities with the children and frequently have day trips which help with development, socialisation and fun!

They always keep me updated with my daughters progress and photos of activities they have been doing.

I highly recommend Lisa and Lee as childminders and feel very blessed that my daughter is cared for by them.

Fantastic environment for your child to develop

My first child started with Lisa in 2013 and thrived in this caring and varied environment; when we were looking for care for our second child in 2016 we knew this would also be best for our daughter. Lisa provides a wonderful balance between a home environment (perfect if like me your children were babies when they started and so you wanted a cosy and secure place for them to be) and an educational environment where children can develop key skills. I particularly like the varied activities and outings which take place to socialise, develop and entertain. Her feedback on my children’s progress both at drop off and collection leaves me secure about their well being, happiness and progression. I have no qualms in recommending Lisa as a childminder, I feel very lucky to have had her caring for my children.

Fantastic service

My 19 month old twins have been looked after by Lisa and her staff since they were just over 8 months old. Lisa is fantastic with them, and I can’t fault her. The setting is well set up, and she organises lots of fun activities for them to try. I feel confident that she is looking after them well, and highly recommend her :)

Great childminder

Lisa and Lee are great childminders. My 3 year old son and 5 year old daughter have both been going there since they were 1.
They have a lovely playroom area and also take the children to various activities, play groups, gymnastics, Avon Valley, parks etc.
Lisa is very creative with the children and helping them to learn and develope, I get updates on their progress and photos of what they have been doing, which is lovely to see.
My children are always happy going to Lisa’s and Lisa is flexible and understanding as a mother and childminder.
I would strongly recommend using Lisa and Lee :)

Fun, Friendly and Flexible

I cannot recommend Lisa highly enough if you are looking for wrap around school or full / part time care for your child(ren).

My Son (9) and Daughter (5) have been with Lisa since August 2014 for after school care three nights a week during term time only, with the occasional before school sessions, they both love going to Lisa’s where it is home from home environment.

When looking for a childminder it was important to my husband and I that our children could relax and chill out after having been at school all day. I haven’t been disappointed; Lisa gives them the opportunity to decide what they would like to do, more often than not they come home with something they have made at Lisa’s.

They both have dinner at Lisa’s after school, where they are given healthy and nutritional food, I have had no complaints from either my Son or Daughter about the food they are given – in fact I am told off by them if I collect them early and they haven’t yet had their dinner!

There have been occasions where I have had to ask Lisa to look after the children before school at a moments notice and she has always been able to assist. Recently when I was unwell I couldn’t have asked anymore of Lisa, the support she provided my husband, our children and I was up and above what I would expect of a childminder.

Our relationship is very positive and we work well together to ensure the children are happy. If Lisa is aware of anything that has bothered either of them during school or more recently when I was unwell, they are very comfortable talking with Lisa &/or Lee (Lisa’s husband), she shares this with my husband and I, so there is a joined up approach. Likewise if my husband or I are aware of anything upsetting the children we make Lisa aware just in case their behaviour is out of character and Lisa is prepared on how to handle them or even talk with them.

Lisa is very firm but fair with both my Son and Daughter and her approach mirrors how we are bringing our children up, to show respect to all and more importantly right from wrong.

We really couldn’t ask for a better childminder, both my son and daughter are made to feel part of the family and to date I haven’t had to fight with them to go to Lisa’s which is all that I can ask for – apart from the morning sessions, but that is just due to my Son not wanting to get up!

You wouldn’t be disappointed if you chose Lisa as your childminder.

Outstanding childminder

I have always been delighted with choosing Lisa to be my daughters childminder. Lisa has helped me with crucial stages such as potty training using her vast experience as a mother and childminder. Lisa is a great communicator and organiser with a flexible approach on working together with parents to provide the best environment for your child. I am an ex-teacher and I really have been impressed by Lisa's approach to childminding. Can't recommend her highly enough.
