About Me
My name is lynne i am 48. I have one son who is now 30, I have a granddaughter who is 10 years old . I live in Moreton/leasowe with my husband kev, who also has an up to date crb check. We have been together for 22 years and married for 10. I enjoy spending my time going away in my caravan at weekends with my family, I also enjoy going for bikes rides and horse riding.
My home has two playrooms one downstairs and one in a cabin in the garden.
The dining room/playroom on the ground floor is for the children to have their meals and also where they can play when they first arrive, and before they are picked up, this room is where we do all our craft activities. This room is also used for the children’s sleep time. We have either cots or mats for the children to use for sleeps. The children can use whichever they are most comfortable with.
I have a lovely big secure garden at the back of my property for the Children to play and explore. We have a large portacabin that is set up as another room so the children can go outside in all weathers. I have lots of interesting toys for the children to play with in the garden.
I own a car and I have a full clean driving license and I will be taking the children to the farm, library and we have our very own forest school that gives the children lots of different experiences such as exploration of the woods. I also own 2 horses that the children can have access to which helps them learn about animals and how to look after them etc.
I have one member of staff that works alongside meduring the holidays. My daughter in law Lucy who has been with me since the day I started 12 years ago. She has her NVQ 3 and is now looking to embark on her early years professional status. She has a current dbs certificate. She has also got her first aid and safeguarding certificates. My mum also comes in one day a week to do craft time with the children she also has an up to date dbs check. I had my Ofsted inspection April 2024 and recieved a good in all areas.
My Experience
I have 30 years experience of working in various child care settings. I have been everything from a classroom assistant to a room manager. I hold my nvq 2 and 3 in early years care an education, I also have a BA Hons degree in psychology with education studies.

I am available from 7.30 - 6.00 Monday - Friday
I have spaces for full time, part time places and also shift hours
I do school drop offs and pick ups from leasowe primary. I also offer holiday care.

My son has been going to Lynney's for the past year during the school holidays. He's always really excited to go there and has built up a wonderful relationship with Lynney.
She is full of fun and does really fabulous things with the children, she takes them on days out in her Lynney Bus, doing lots outdoors which is great for my son as he has so much energy. They have tea parties when its any of their birthdays and even hired a bouncy castle.
She is really passionate about what she does which makes the children feel really comfortable and safe in her care. I go to work feeling that my son is very well looked after and he's having an amazing time.
I would highly recommend Lynney to anyone - she is absolutely amazing !!!

My two little girls aged 18 months and 3 years have been going to lynneylous childminding since the end of march and they are so happy.
My girls get very excited when they are on their way to lynne's they run straight to her door and they often dont look up when i say goodbye and they never want to come home as they have had such a great time.
I was very wary about leaving my beautiful girls to go back to work but i am so pleased i did it now as my girls are thriving in lynne's care. She takes them to lots of exciting places like playgroups, library, park and beach to name a few places.
There are lots of photographs taken throughout the day which are shared with me often which show my girls (and lynne) having a great time.
