About Me
Hello! My name is Hannah and I run Hannah's House In the Leckhampton area of Cheltenham.
I have 2 amazing girls who are 16 and 15 years old and 2 cats called Bo and Hippo!
We live in walking distance of Naunton Park Primary School.
I provide a loving, safe and secure environment for your child to fully develop. The emphasis is on 'fun' in a real ‘home from home’ setting with many activities on offer to stimulate and engage. We love going on adventures and can often be found at Forest School, in the park, Hoppity Poppits, in Gloucester Cathedral or City Farm, at soft play or Slimbridge. We go on an adventure every morning! Our house is warm and welcoming and I would love to meet you!
My Experience
I have worked in a nursery, nannied for a famous golfer, worked on and ran childrens sports camps and then started PE teaching in 2001 until 2008 when I had a family of our own.
I then went on to become a Sports Co-ordinator after teaching which I enjoyed for 9 years, teaching in a Special School and numerous Primary Schools.
I have finally found 'my calling' working within the Early Years.
I have always worked with children and thoroughly enjoy the rewards that it offers.
My Qualifications
I have a BSc Hons degree in Sports Science & Psychology
I am a qualified teacher of Physical Education holding a Post Grafuate Certificate in Education
Paediatric First Aid trained
I hold a relevant Home-Base Childcare Certificate
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder for 13 years
I also hold numerous sporting qualification ranging from working with Special Needs children to coaching trampolining to the very young and I’m a musician achieving the standard of grade 8 in two instruments.
My Availability
I offer TERM-TIME only childcare
8.00am - 5.00pm (alternative arrangements can be discussed but are not a guarantee)
I offer before/after School care to and from Naunton Park Primary/ Pre School ONLY
