I HAVE BEEN A REGISTERED CHILDMINDER FOR 28 YEARS, 10 YEARS AS A CHILDRENS NANNY, SO AS YOU CAN GUESS I LOVE MY JOB.
WE HAVE A HAPPY HOME, INWHICH THE CHILDREN ARE MADE TO FEEL VERY WELCOME.THE CHILDREN HAVE USE OF THE DOWNSTAIRS, GIVING THEM LOTS OF ROOM TO PLAY, PLUS A GOOD SIZED GARDEN WHICH IS SAFE AND WELL EQUIPED WITH WOODEN PLAYHOUSE,ALL WEATHER LAWN, LARGE UNDERCOVER AREA FOR ALL WEATHERS AND LARGE PATIO FOR THE CHILDREN TO RIDE BIKES AND SCOOTERS.

Cheryl and Lorna have provided an exceptionally high quality, child minding service for my twins Joseph and Gabriel from age 7 months to 18 months. Their unwavering flexibility and care have enabled me and my partner to continue to work full-time as keyworkers, and new parents during the uncertainty of lockdown - I've always been grateful for the daily chats at drop off and pick up which have been a source of constant reassurance and information. It is with such a heavy heart that we are leaving the area, but had we not been relocating, the boys would have been there until they were 18! The facilities in the home are perfect for little one's and constantly refreshed with new toys to provide plenty of stimulation for curious minds. They also take the children out on daily trips which keeps my two rather spirited pair particularly happy. Both boys have also enjoyed lots of yummy homemade lunches which were a god send during busy weeks when I hadn't had time to prep stuff. Also notable is that the children are diverse in age and background but most share the common history of having been looked after by Cheryl and Lorna since they were small too, which has created a real sense of family amongst the children. Finally, big shout out to lovely Ian, who both of my boys adore and believe is their best friend. Thank you Cheryl, Lorna and Ian for the love and care you show to these young little beings in your home. Your hard work is shaping a generation of lovely kind kids.

Cheryl and her daughter Lorna looked after my 2 year old and 5 year old this summer. The kids had an absolutely brilliant time. They were taken on trips to parks, forests, farms, museums... they ran about in the fresh air every day, and learned plenty at the same time. Cheryl's home is welcoming and fun, our two quickly felt part of the family. They loved hanging out with their new friends and playing with all the fab toys in the house and garden. The kids were also picked up and dropped off at our house, which was amazingly helpful. Cheryl and Lorna are professional, thoughtful and committed to their work. I would recommend them to anyone.
