About Me
Self-Employed Ofsted registered provider Nanny, previously worked as a nanny over 25 years. Formerly a Ofsted registered Childminder with a 'GOOD' inspection certification since July 2019 until September 2023.
I have returned to my role as an Ofsted registered nanny. Throughout my extensive career in education, I've maintained a friendly, approachable demeanor, prioritising care and placing others before myself.
As a nanny, I work full-time, part-time nanny share between two parents.
I am responsible for the safeguarding of the children and will ensure all of the children are safeguarded in my care. I will also ensure that the children in my care will develop a culturally safe environment and to promote equal opportunities within my setting and safeguard the welfare of children and young people.
Therefore each child shall be respected considered and treated on an individual basis and also ensure that the children in my care respect each other while playing, for example, sharing and taking turns with resources.
As a nanny, I offer a specialised service where I care for the individual child with all it's practical needs.
At the same time I use my educating skills to help the child prepare for nursery and primary school.
I plan and facilitate engaging activities to support children's learning, incorporating singing, rhymes, and reading.
I organize outings such as playgroups, softplay, the Horniman museum, going to the pet shop to see the pets to enrich their experiences.
I provide activities both indoor and outdoor to various ages, promoting their educational development accarding to the (EYFS) Framework.
I have a CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People Workforce.
I build a positive relationship with parents and created a bound with all the children I care for.
I transport children to and from school, ensuring their safe travel. I prepare a nutritious homemade meal for them upon pick-up and create a warm and nurturing home environment that encourages free socialisation among the children in my care.
My Experience
I have worked in a nursery school for over 15 years and also have 2 years' working in a school as a midday supervisor and after school worker. I have done support work such as caring for the elderly as well.
My Qualifications
I have an up to date food and hygiene training, safeguarding children from birth to 0 - 12 years old.
The EYFS is a framework that supports an integrated approach to early learning and care.
I have 15 years experience working with children and hold a CACHE level 3 diploma for the children and young people's workforce.

Evette has been an amazing nanny/childminder for us. She is so friendly and has such a brilliant way with little kids that our clingy 1 year old took to her straight away, and within a day or two she was completely as happy with Evette as she was with us! Evette played, read and sang to her happily for hours and took her to lovely playgroups. She cooked nutritious, thoughtful meals and nailed nap time routine easily. Evette herself is punctual, friendly, amazingly thoughtful and kind. She’s a joy to have around - our kids loved her and so did we!

Evette was very friendly her place was spotless and she was very attentive before and during child care.
I have a fussy breastfed baby and considering this is the first time I've taken her to a childminder Evette has shown excellent and flexible quality care, as my baby was happy calm and in a good mood when I got home.
I will definitely be using her services the next time I need childcare!

My two children have been attending during the summer holidays and I am delighted with the service provided. There have been many outings such as going to the cinema, the pet shop, swimming and Horniman museum. My children enjoyed those days as food is always provided and the schedule is organised meaning I am up to date with their activities. Conveniently, there is an adventure park nearby so they are able to do many many activities at no extra cost.
In Evette's house, the environment is clean and friendly. There are a range of toys and activities inside to do like board games, arts and craft, cooking and reading. During the half term, they were taken to the library where they did school work and read.
Overall, I would defiantly recommend going to Evette for childminding as I trust her with my kids and she looks after them responsibly by treating them like her own family.
