About Me
My name is Ali and I am married with three children. I have lived in Kidsgrove for over 10 years after moving from Guildford, Surrey. We live in a semi detached house with a large garden that overlooks the woods. My house is a home and reflects this fact, it does not mean that it is a mess and full of toys but it is clean and tidy with a great deal of evidence of children being present. My home has a large outside area which I am lucky enough to be able to sepearte into different play areas for different aged children. I have a huge amount of toys and apparatus for both indoor and outdoor play which is suitable for all ages and stages of development.
As a family we enjoy all outdoor activities which we encourage those within my care to participate in .
My Experience
I am an Accredited childminder with a diploma and foundation degree in 'The Early Years'. I plan and implement all areas of the EYFS and am able to demonstrate how, through the children's diaries and personal portfolios. In addition I am the Chairperson of Kidsgrove childminding group and The Chairperson of my children's school PSA and a facilitator for Pacey.
My Qualifications
My last Ofsted inspection was graded OUTSTANDING . I have various GCSE'S and A levels and have a degree in The Early Years with the Open University. I have over the years attended a variety of training courses, too long to list, all of which I have certificates to prove. ,
My Availability
My hours arre flexible as I understand the needs of the modern family but I am unavailble for weekend work due to my own family needs..

I have been lucky enough to have Ali as my childminder for my lb since October 2012 when he was 10 months. Ali is brilliant - they are always doing activities that are fun, enjoyable and educational. She regularly takes the children to playgroups and soft play centres, so they mix with lots of children and at the end of every week, we get a book which tells us what lo has done each day, as well as a synopsis of his behaviour/ things he can do. This is followed up every year with what I call a 'memory book' - photos of our lo at Ali's, taking part in activities, along with comments about his development - it is really lovely and shows you how much your lo has developed in a short space of time. I cannot recommend Ali enough - she and her family are so warm and welcoming and she always has time for a quick chat. Her house is clean and tidy and super child-friendly - pictures that they've paited everywhere, plus things for them to point out and learn. They are always baking or making things & play outside whenever possible. Happy to be contacted to discuss if required.
