Hi, I’m Katie.

I love working with children, in particular nannying. I like being spontaneous with the children, getting out when we can and blanket dens or craft when we can’t!

I’ve always referred to myself as a “firm but fair” nanny, until I had my own. Having Noah was a life changing experience and one I can’t really explain. He is 2 now and has definitely changed the way I look at nannying - I’m more compassionate and understanding.
We love forest walks, picnics, puddles, baking and cheese. When I get time to myself I love trying out new recipes, even if they’re not always successful.
Noah comes to work with me at the moment and loves it. He adores the children and (I know I’m bias) is well behaved and very little trouble. He sleeps in his buggy and has settled into their routine really well!

My Experience

I have 14 years sole charge, 1 years shared charge, and 9 months nursery experience.

My duties in previous roles have included a variety of skills like; school runs, laundry, cooking, homework and reading, stimulating and interesting activities, cloth nappies, weaning, potty training, helping with phonics and some proxy care.

I love being accepted into a family. Helping children grow and develop is so rewarding it’s why I’m a nanny!

I have experience from newborns up to teenagers. I have worked with several babies and toddlers; I’m confident in my ability to care for children of all ages.

My Qualifications

I have a full uk driving licence with no points.

I have a diploma in childcare and eduction. I have paediatric first aid (September 2020) a brand new dbs and level 2 in food safety as well as several certificates from professional development training.

My Availability

I’m looking for full time, part time and ad hoc Nannying as well as evening babysitting.

My Fees

Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)
Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

£12 with a 3 hour minimum (evening babysitting)

£14 with a 3 hour minimum (ad-hoc/permanent day care)
