Our son has been with Julie since he was one, and he’s now just turned three. During that time he has developed from a baby to a confident little boy thanks to Julie’s care. I love the arts and craft creations he comes home with, and hearing about all the games and park trips they’ve had.
Our son has severe food allergies with anaphylaxis and Julie has always been extremely safe with everything food related, she is the only person we trust around our son with food.
He is chatty, smart and happy, and he’s learnt beautiful manners from Julie too!
I can’t recommend Julie enough, she genuinely cares so much about the children and her house is a true home-from-home, we’ll all be sad when our son starts school and has to stop going to Julie’s.
Julie is an amazing childminder and babysitter who has been minding our daughter Emily since she was under one year old. Emily (now three) settled in very quickly and has been extremely happy in Julie’s care. Julie is a very professional, reliable and experienced childminder. She is calm and patient and provides a very caring home away from home. She is very engaged with the children and takes our daughter on regular visits to parks, toddler groups and other days out, as well as on play dates with other local childminders. She has a large garden and play room and does regular arts and crafts and other activities with the children. We are really glad to have found Julie and would not hesitate to recommend her!
Julie is an awesome childminder. Flo first went to Julie’s when she was six months’ old and started regularly from ten months. Nine months later and Flo couldn’t be happier. She zooms into Julie’s playroom without a look back when we drop her off and thrives on the interaction with the other children. An important aspect of Julie’s care is that she is openly loving and caring with the children, freely giving hugs and is attentive when Flo is upset. (How many childminders have you seen at playgroups who don’t do that?!)
They go on trips out to local parks, farms, do amazing craft sessions (I love my Christmas and Mother’s Day cards), meet up with other childminders for play dates and have fun in Julie’s garden. Everything is recorded by Julie (with photos) on a digital programme called Babydays, which we can access from home. I love being able to see for myself what Flo has been up to.
Julie has also babysat for us a couple of times on a Saturday night. There’s no greater feeling than knowing your precious child is in completely safe hands, whether it’s while you’re at work or out for dinner.
Julie has now been looking after my son Samuel for 2 years, since he just turned 1. He goes to Julies house 3 days a week and he settled in very quickly. Julie often takes him to local parks, toddler groups (such as Songbirds which Sam loves!), days out - he has been to Horniman Museum, Ruxley Manor, Godstone Farm to name a few places, Julie also takes Sam to meet up with another child-minder and her children (which Sam very much looks forward to as he has grown close to them)
Julie has a dedicated play room at her house which is full of lots of different toys. She also has a very large garden that Sam enjoys playing in (he especially likes the giant trampoline)
Sam loves going to Julies house and most days i find it difficult getting him to leave! Julie provides a loving, caring and fun environment.
It is difficult returning to work and having to leave your child with someone else, however from day 1 i felt at ease leaving Sam in Julies care. It has been like his second home and Julie has helped immensely with his development.
I would not hesitate to recommend Julie, thank you for doing such a great job
Julie has helped me with my baby boy Sam on a weekly basis one evening a week since he was 5 weeks old.
Julie is very patient, reliable, trustworthy and caring and most importantly she has built up a fantastic bond with all 3 of my children. She will involve the older children if they want to help.
Julie's duties involve playing, feeding, bathing, dressing, changing nappies, winding and settling Sam to sleep. When Julie first came Sam slept through until 5.30am with was unheard of so she must have the magic touch.
I look forward to Julie coming each week so I can get on with other things that get neglected with a newborn and I know I can trust Julie just to get on with things.
She is very confident in all aspects of babycare and nothing's too much trouble. Her experience of working with babies and children shine through.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Julie to anyone considering hiring her as a night nanny.
