My Summary
About Me
I have 3 grown up children of my own (2 of which are also childminders) and we spend a lot of time working together.
I have been married for 36 years and have lived in this area the whole time.
I have a large garden with plenty of equipment for the children and we use this space at every opportunity.
I attend lots of toddler groups and we make use of all the local parks.
Indoors I provide a home from home atmosphere and there is plenty of time for free-play as well as arts and crafts activities.
My Experience
I have been working as a Registered Childminder for 23 years and enjoying every minute of it whilst it keeps me young at heart. I have worked with lots of children who I am still in regular contact with.
I am Registered through Ofsted and am insured and a member of the NCMA.
My Qualifications
I have a diploma in Pre-school Practice and have attended several childminder courses over the years.
I also hold a Paediatric First Aid Certificate which I renew every 3 years and am CRB checked in accordance with Ofsted requirements. Also take childcare vouchers & 9/15/30 hours funding.

Nina has looked after our little boy for over a year now, providing a stable and caring home from home environment for him. She is extremely reliable and flexible; always taking time to tell me about their day and all the lovely things they've been doing.
Our son absulutely loves going to Nina's house as she has everything he could need...especially in the garden. He never wants to come home!
Nina is such a caring and kind person, and so are her family. They are a real credit to her and play an important part in making their home so welcoming for the children Nina looks after. My son adores her husband and I often find them in the garden playing football!
If you're looking for a kind, clean and friendly family environment, Nina is perfect.

You could not ask for a better childminder than Nina. She has looked after my son since he was 2 (he is now 10) and my daughter since she was 1 (she is now 4). Now they both attend school, but they still go to Nina’s during school holidays.
I always knew that when I dropped off my children to be cared for by Nina that they would have a great day full of fun and adventure, including baking, arts and crafts and trips to various places including toddler groups and childminding network groups.
Both children love going, they look forward to going and playing with the other children knowing they will feel safe, secure, happy and will never be bored!
Nina’s home is very welcoming and clean. She has many toys, activities, crafts, inside and out things to do including a huge lawn to play on with swings, a trampoline and various other outdoor toys and activities! Nina also has a car too and used to take my son to school when I was at work, she also took my daughter to nursery.
During school holidays, she frequently takes the kids on outings to Horsham Park, Manic Monsters, Wacky Warehouse, the beach, walks and even castles plus many more.
Nina is also open, honest and very trustworthy. She is an outstanding carer of children who I would recommend to anyone! She recognises the individual needs of my children and has helped them with their learning and development.
The whole family are lovely, 2 of Nina’s 3 daughters are also childminders and have helped out when Nina has been on holiday and I have been stuck for childcare. I would highly recommend all of them.
Nina has also been very flexible when it comes to hours and sometimes when I have had to change things, or need help at the last minute, she hasn’t hesitated to help out.
In summary, Nina is absolutely fantastic and I don’t know what we would do without her. She is an amazing childminder and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

Nina was recommended to us when our daughter was 9 months old. As a first time Mum and not from this area, i was panicking about going back to work.
As soon as I met Nina we just clicked. Nina is warm and friendly and the kids all love her. My daughter settled there very quickly and she wasn't the sort of baby to be handed around and cuddled all the time. It proved to me that the warmth and ease that you feel with her, the children do too. Nina follows our routines and discipline but our daughter is so well behaved for Nina anyway!!
Ninas home is lovely with lots of space. The garden is superb and we used to love going to get our daughter and hear them all having great time. There is plenth of activity and stimulation. We love reading our daughters book every evening and seeing what they had all got up to. There is plenty or variety. Playgroups, trips to the park, garden picnics sticking etc when it is raining.
Nina is always fantastic to talk to with her wealth of knowledge of being a Mum and doing this job for so long. I always ask Nina's advice about something new our daughter may be doing. Our daughter has thrived there. She too, often asks if she is going to Nina's at the weekend!
Nina is also flexible and when I have been stuck on the motorway it is never a problem. I just don't think you would get that from a nursery environment. I never worry when our daughther is with Nina as I know she is in the best hands. Safe, secure and loving.
We are soon moving 50 miles away and I aven't been stressed about the move at all. The one thing I am stressing about is finding another 'Nina'!
I may have to accept that it might not happen! She is one of a kind, i am sure.
I too agree with above reviews. If you are lucky to get a place with Nina, you will be able to relax back into work without stressing about your child. They will love her!

I used Nina after hearing she did child care from someone. She is a real gem, throughly organised, great home for the kids to learn and have fun. Plenty of days out , routine and importantly discipline too.
I returned to work when my son was still under 3mnths, he is now almost 15 and although he doesnt need childcare he is like one of the family and he loves spending time with them.
Stable environment.You can go to work knowing your child is in great hands.She plans way ahead so if there is a date she cannot do you are well aware. If you have a crisis and she can help even overnight she will. I would leave any child of mine with her. Totally dependable , registered and calm and the kids love her, I recommended her to my sons godmother and she ended up caring for both her children from babies. Her daughters have watched their mother over the years and now are childminders themselves. Nina is definitely first class and if you can get a place you are very lucky!

Nina has been a childminder to my son for the past 5 years.
Both my son and I absolutely adore Nina.
Nina offers a home from home enviroment. Her family are lovely and life in Nina's house is based around the children but with a good and fair discipline structure.
During school holidays Nina always has activities for the children that cater for all ages. The children are encourage to play with all ages.
Two of Nina's daughters are also childminders. They are often all together given the children lots of people to play with and she regularly meets up with other child minding groups as well.
I have found Nina to be fantastic and a huge support to me as a working mum.
I would highly recommend Nina as a child minder
