About Me
I am an outstanding childminder and have been a childminder for 29 years. I am also an EYE provider which means i can claim funding for any hours you do not do at preschool up to the 30 hours so that you still get your 30 hours .i live in farnborough with my husband and 1 of my children, my 2 daughters have left home and I have 2 grandsons . I offer a war;m loving home from home environment. i take the children out every day and we do lots of activities at home. My husband works with me mainly after school as my assistant and is registered with ofsted as my assistant and has attended a first aid course. I have a king charles spaniel dog who is 5 years old
My Experience
i have been a childminder for 29 years and i have seen many of my children through from baby to school and some of them even through to senior school. i received an outstanding grade in my recent ofsted inspection and have always received the highest grade in my inspections. I have a level 3 in childcare. i take my job very seriously and offer a home from home environment. i have lots of different resources and toys and the children get to take part in lots of messy play/art and craft sessions. i also have a well equipped large garden for them to play in.I go to lots of different playgroups, play gym, library and take the children outside a lot to play parks. in school holidays we go on lots of different outings and try to go out every day.
My Qualifications
throughout my time as a childminder i have undertaken many general courses including all the main ones such as first aid, health and safety, safeguarding children, advanced child protection and hygiene. I have also completed my level 3 in child care.
My Availability
I have before and after school vacancies.I currently have vacancies for school children every day . I can take and i can pick up from Parsonage Farm,, guillemont junior, velmead school in fleet, also cove infants on a Monday My setting is open from 8.00am - 6pm and i can provide breakfast/lunch/dinner. i have vacancies every day in school holidays 8am - 6pm

sarah is one of a kind and i feel at ease and relaxed 100% to be able to go to work and know my son is cared for to the highest standards and the level of care is outstanding and is the closest to my own as a mum, i am so glad to have her as a my childminder for my 4yr old son, sarahs setting is very welcoming,homley, relaxed, structured and its clear she loves her job. my son loves going to her setting and is reluctant to leave when i arrive to collect him as he loves it so much and feels at home there. sarah has been looking after my son since moving to farnborough in oct 2012, and has supported me through all stages and challenges my son has had reaching his milestones as he grows, sarah is always friendly happy and goes up and above for the children she looks after and is always helpfull and gives her experience and knowledge to find ways of managing any problems my son has and i have 100% trust that no matter what my son has problems or difficulties with sarah will support him everyway she can to make him feel secure settled and cared for. sarahs setting has exceeded any expectations of a childminder, i truly feel that the care and learning my son has experienced since going to sarahs setting is outstanding, sarah has a fantastic creative mind that im still shocked and amazed at the ideas she has, my son is always enthusiastic to tell me what he has been doing weather it be making advent calanders, messy play, imaginative play, visiting lego land, the farm, park, look out just to name a few. i felt that i needed to write this review so others have information of a parent whom has expierenced the feelings of finding a good childminder and i can truely say that i would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone looking for an outstanding childminder that will truley do her best to provide the very best service you could expect as a parent putting their trust in someone to look after their child. thank you sarah i really appriciate every thing you do and am so truely blessed to have you as my sons childminder x.
