About Me
My name is Linda and have two grown up children and four grandchildren.
I am a retired childminder and looking at doing some Temporary and Occasional childcare on a part time basis 3 days a week Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, hours to suit both parents and myself on a temporary basis.
Emergency childcare: I will help.
If your childcare provider leaves you in the lurch at the last moment it can be very inconvenient for you, unsettling for your child and catastrophic for your job! Of course, in an ideal world, we all have family members round the corner who can step in at a moments’ notice to care for the children so we can dash off to work.
However, local family help is simply not an option for many families so it is very important that contingency plans are in place. So if this happen to you, I am happy to help if I can.
I live with my husband who I have been married to for 49 years. I am based in Hangleton with local School Hangleton Primary school, pre-schools, parks, library and on 5, 5A bus route.
My Experience
I was a childminder for 38 years and I am Ofsted registered my last inspection was in May 2022 with good report, I worked as a independent childminder after working as a childminding setting with other )childminders. I have looked after children for most of my working days with children from the age of 0 to 8+ and enjoyed every minute of it, I have 4 lovely grandchildren of whom one of them who is 7 years old comes to me afterschool.

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
Fees are:
£8.00 per hour
£10.00 per hour for unsociable hours before 8am
£10.00 per hour for Emergency childcare
