About Me

My name is Tracey and I am a highly motivated, experienced and fun ofsted registered nanny, graded good in October 2022. I have 30 years experience within the early years sector.
I have previously worked as an ofsted registered childminder and ran my business for 15 years, closing this year due to re training as a reflexologist. Whilst I build my new business I am looking for a part time nanny role that will work alongside my reflexology business.
As a childminder I looked after 6 children at any one time providing them with a safe, loving and nurturing environment whilst meeting all of their physical, emotional and education needs.
I created a broad curriculum that encompassed all areas of the early years framework which was enriching, dynamic and an engaging environment for children to thrive in.
I take a healthy approach to preparing food and cook homemade fresh meals with plenty of fruit and vegetables, I hold a food and hygiene certificate and have allergy safety training.
I enjoy being out in nature, providing the children in my care with plenty of opportunities to explore and experience the natural environment whilst learning about the world around them.
I make sure I have a good working relationship with all parents i work with and communicate well , supporting the routines and parenting style of each family and am guided by the child’s preferences when organizing our daily activities.
I will ensure your child has the opportunity to experience social activities such as playgroups, music groups and play dates to ensure they experience an age appropriate broad range of interactions and environments helping to build resilience and social skills.
Balancing this with quiet times and stimulating play. Encouraging reading and language development and lots of fun and expressive art and craft activities to further learning and development.
I am experienced with the growing needs and developmental stages of young children into young adulthood and can support with stages such as potty training, nursery/ school transition and sleep regulation.
I am friendly,caring and responsible. I find my work rewarding and fulfilling and most importantly I have fun. I strive for all children in my care to develop,be safe and most importantly to be happy!
