About Me
I have extensive experience working with with adults and children with special needs parlty through private tutoring and also running workshops within schools and other educational settings. I have references to support my background in this work which extends back a few decades. In addition to working as a private tutor I also home-educated my own two children for the last 5 years of their schooling. I can send copies of my qualifications along with links to reviews of my work.
I am married and live with my two adult children who also have autism. I am insured to teach English or a curriculum which advances the practice of creative writing in any context through NAWE (National Association of Writers in Education) of which I am also a member.
My hobbies are reading non-fictional materials and listening to music.
My Experience
My experience includes teaching English literature GCSE, English GCSE, SEN study skills, ABA tutor and tutoring children who have been excluded in an alternative centre and through agency work. I also ran workshops in schools and taught Music as PPE cover in one school for 3 terms. The list is quite extensive so I have just summarised it briefly here. I also taught Music and drama in various settings and often to adults with autism and learning differences. In addition to my educational qualifications I have a diploma in Music Technology and am a certified Laughter Therapy leader.
I combine my academic, creative and therapeutic experience to help people unlock their fullest learning potential.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £30.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £50.00 per hour
£50 per hour within a 5 mile radius (you must have a wheelchair accessible house). £30 per hour in my own home. I also teach online for £20 an hour. Please see my external website to book Tutoring.
