About Me
My name is Ali and my husband is called Matt. We live in Kensworth (nr Whipsnade zoo) with our sporty & arty 13 year old girl and our cheeky Fortnite obsessed 11 year old boy. We both work in Hemel however my husband does work from home some days. We have a big Labrador cross called Darwin.
We are very experienced at employing a nanny as have now had one for 7 years using PAYE for Nannies for payroll/HR/pension. We can help with any queries you might have.
My Requirements
We are currently seeking a part time summer holiday nanny to cover our existing Nannie’s maternity leave tarting 10th July - 3rd Sept (inclusive). 10am-6:30pm Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (non-negotiable). Own car essential. Must be comfortable being around dogs.
Pay: £15-£18 gross depending on experience.
Duties: Not your usual nannying role! Do you want to spend your days Ice-skating, playing laser tag, baking cakes and playing Mario kart?! This is the job for you. Older kids have different needs to pre-schoolers and your role will be more akin to a fun older sibling than a parent. They still need boundaries and meals cooked but there is a lot more opportunity to do more mutually satisfying activities in the school holidays and have deeper more challenging conversations! We also have a cleaner so house duties are light (I do request you help with the families washing).
Own car required. Driving is an essential part of this role and mileage is paid at 45p/mile.
This would be an ideal roll for a teaching assistant, student or to fit around other commitments. It would also be an ideal first nannying job or for someone winding their career down. There will be the opportunity for future work including babysitting and adhoc nannying if desired.
