About Me
My name is Louise. I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I am married with 2 children, a daughter who is 22 and a son who is 19. Both children live at home. I offer a home from home setting and a garden for outdoor play/learning. Each child in my care benefit from a positive, supportive and caring environment.
I live in a smoke free and pet free home.
I live close to Radstock Primary school and am able to drop off or collect from Radstock school or nursery.
I will keep the children in my care stimulated and provide learning experiences. Eg: arts and crafts, toddler groups, library visits, parks and planned days out. I like to take children to the woods and the lake to feed the ducks too as fresh air and being outside is good for them.
My Experience
I have previously been a childminder for 8 years from 2005-2014 caring for children from newborn to 11 years. I have also worked in an early years setting at a school working with children aged 2-5 years from 2014-2022. I have also gained a lot of experience bringing up my own children.

Pre registration training
NVQ level 3 in childcare
PACEY (Professional association for childcare and Early Years)
EYFS training
Safeguarding (child protection) training
Paediatric First Aid training
Anaphylaxis training
Food safety Level 2

Open Monday-Thursday 7.30am - 5pm

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
I charge £6.50 per hour (including snacks and drinks)
I charge £7.00 per hour for before and after school children.
I accept funding.

Our daughter has been with Louise since she was 1 years old (2023 - present). Louise has been nothing but amazing and we could not have been more grateful to get her as a Childminder. Our daughter has absolutely flourished in her care and has developed a strong bond with Louise. Louise is very good with the kids, is very focused on development but also ensures that the kids get plenty socialising as well by attending toddler groups and organising outings and also plenty activities in her setting. The setting is clean and well looked after and we felt comfortable from the moment we stepped in. I would highly recommend Louise to anyone looking for a Childminder. She is amazing and my daughter will absolutely miss her when she leaves to attend nursery.

My son has been with Louise since January 2023. We were so blessed to have Louise look after our son, he loves her and always happy so go in the morning. Louise has cared for our son like one of her own. She works hard and very passionate about his development. He has learned a lot while in her care. Louise keeps a beautiful clean home, perfect play area for all the children. Louise goes above and beyond and has helped us during family emergencies and times of need, she has been a real god send to our family. My son was so fond of Louise and her whole family, he will miss them all very much.
I would highly recommend Louise as a childminder she’s amazing.
