Bushra has been looking after my two sons on a part-time basis for over 3 years - since my son was around 11 months and is now over 4. I probably shouldn't write a review as I don't want others to steal her. She is really that good!! She provides such a loving, flexible and welcoming environment to the extent that I feel I am sending our boys to their second home. Her whole family share Bushra's positivity, patience and care so it really is a bubbly environment in which the kids have settled well (note they did not settle in other nursery environments so this is testament to Buttercups). The kids do lots of activities including a morning playgroup Bushra helps to run. If you are looking for childminding and Bushra has space you are on to a winner!
My son has been at Buttercup since he was 9 months old. I feel that this childminder's family are very much part of my son's family. The childminder's husband is a registered Childminder assistant, and they are both such kind, caring and friendly people. They do not just look after my son well, but they LOVE HIM. They also have a massive garden at the back of their house and the children are often taken to playgroups. This childminder does exactly what 'perfect' stay-home mums would do, feed their children home cooked well balanced nutritious food everyday, and take them to educationally stimulating places like playgroups 3 days a week, and provide them with a loving homey environment.
They are also quite flexible with drop off and pick up times. I am a school teacher, and they only charge half fees during school holidays. (All the nurseries I have visited in SW18&19 charge full time fees during school holidays, therefore, they were not very school teachers friendly)
In addition, the childminder is an experienced mother of 3 (Her son and daughters are older now) therefore, she is able to notice and point out on small minor medical conditions (eg. strange cough, temperature, the way my son walks, change of moods, etc) that I would not have been able to pick up. All in all, I can not recommend this childminder at Buttercup highly enough. My husband and I have to only look at my son and see how happy he is when we drop him off and pick him up. My son comes home with a variety of art pieces (!?) and cards for mummy and daddy, which never fail to melt our hearts ;)
