About Me
Based in Haxby, have two grown up daughters aged 19 and 21 and have childminded now for over 15 years. My fiance Peter works as a Telephony Analyst for Aviva.
Having used a childminder for my own children I fully understand the anxieties faced by parents when leaving your child with a virtual stranger for the first time.
I provide a happy, safe, home from home environment where your child can feel 'part of the family'. We do lots of visits out and about to local parks, drop in play sessions, farms and places of interest and I provide lots of resources for craft activities here at home.
I work long hours from 6am to 9pm at night and can do weekends.
My Experience
I have childminded for 15 years and have a wealth of experience and qualifications.
I have cared for children with Dyspraxia, allergies, learning difficulties and those who speak English as a second language.
Most children that I care for have been with me for many years. I've cared for them since babies through to going to high school.
I provide a safe, reliable, efficient service and home from
home environment for your child.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 Childcare Diploma. I hold all 3 Steps of Steps To Quality Assurance Awards. I am first aid qualified, CRB checked, fully insured, hold a food hygiene certificate and many other certificates for courses attended.
My Availability
I work to suit parents hours so I have no 'set' hours but at the moment am starting as early as 6am and usually finish at 6pm. I can work longer or earlier hours. I work Saturdays 8am to 6pm.
Some temporary part time hours are available for emergency cover throughout the school holidays.

My Fees
£4 per hour 8am to 6pm to include snacks and visits out to playbarns, drop in playgroups etc.
£5.00 per hour weekends or 'out of hours'
