About Me
My name is Luan. (Luan's Little Stars) I am an ofsted registered childminder and have been working as a childminder for 16 years. I am level 3 qualified (CCLD) I live in Mansfield/Forest town.
I live in a detached house with a lovely safe garden. We enjoy going to local parks, toddler groups, farms and Wheelgate. While at home I provide arts, crafts, gardening, cooking and a wide range of toys. we enjoy messy play, singing and story times each week using puppets and instruments to encourage and engage the children.
I have a child friendly play room that is full of toys, games and books that are always available to play with. I have a large variety of outdoor toys. I always aim to provide a quality caring and loving environment for your child to grow and develop.
Each child has a tapestry account to track and photograph their development, available for parents to view.
My Experience
I have 16 years childminding experience. I help run 2 local childminding group where I meet up with other childminders and their minded children on a weekly basis.
My Qualifications
My childcare related qualifications are:
NVQ level 3 CCLD
ICP
Safeguarding children
Food hygiene at work
Paediatric first aid
I will continue to go on regular training courses to gain relevant knowledge for my career and adapt my childcare skills.
My Availability
One space is available on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for a 2, 3, or 4-year-old starting in August 2024.
Pick-up and drop-off services for Holly Primary School are available.
If you need childcare only during school holidays, I have openings throughout the year. During the holidays, we visit local parks, farms, play areas, and enjoy a variety of fun activities.
Government funding is accepted.

We send our son to Luan twice a week and we are extremely happy with the childcare we have received we are always receiving updates on how he is and the activities they are doing. He is always so happy when he comes back from Luan and always has so much to tell us. I couldn’t recommend Luan enough for the service she provides.

I can not recommend Luan enough, she is amazing at her job and made us feel so welcome. My little boy has come on leaps and bounds since he first started with Luan, he loves the days he has with her and his friends he has made since being at the setting. He very much looks forward to ‘Luan days’ and he is always out on different adventures and outings! Through out the day I receive photos of him having the best time, and it defiantly reassures me and my partner that we made the right decision to send him to Luan.
Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a childminder, Luan really goes above and beyond for everyone in her setting.
We are very pleased and happy with the care we have received.
