My Experience

I have cared for children professionally from newborn to 12years.

I started work in nurseries after I qualified then soon after started nannying.

I have held 4 long term (between 2½ - 10 years) nanny positions, both sole charge and with parents around over the last 25 years.

I have a full (clean) driving license.

My duties have entailed newborn care, weaning, potty training as well as general nursery duties, arranging and taking children in my care to classes/groups such as singing, messy play & swimming, babysitting and school drop off/pick ups and homework supervision of homework.

I also enjoy healthy cooking from scratch.

I am working as a sole charge nanny for 27 hours a week over 3 days.

My charges are a 6 year old boy and a 2 year old boy.

My duties are nursery duties for the 2 year old including arranging and attending many activities such as storytime, singing, messy play, museums, gymboree, farms and parks and organising after school activities for the older child. (all hindered by covid meaning I've had to entertain 2 energetic children within covid restrictions)
I'm also a stickler for good manners and encourage this from a very early age.


I also enjoy healthy cooking.

I have an up to date DBS

My Qualifications

I qualified many moons ago!
I have a city and guilds childcare certificate (that I think is equivalent to NVQ level 2)

Paediatric first aid

My Availability

I'm currently looking for a sole charge nanny position 3-5 days a week.
