I live in Daventry in Northamptonshire. My hobbies are playing golf and entering competitions. I am married to a retired teacher and my children are 29 and 27.
My Experience
Hello and welcome to my page
I have 41 years experience of teaching, but have been doing private tuition for over 19 years. I prepare children for the 11+ and for private entrance exams for a variety of private schools. I am not able to teach children before year 4 as I do not have the experience of teaching young ones.
My main subject is maths and I teach up to GCSE.
I really enjoy teaching verbal reasoning and English, Maths and non-verbal reasoning, all the requirements for the 11+..
I have many successful applicants for grammar schools and private schools and an excellent record of top GCSE Maths grades, as well as being able to make a real improvement to student's grades what ever they may be..
In addition I am available during the day to help any students who are home tutored.

I teach in the evening, at holiday times, including the summer holiday and on Saturdays.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £20.00 per hour
Initial assessment £45
One hour's lesson alone £25 for primary and £30 for secondary students.
Group work one hour 15 minutes £20 for primary.
Other lessons by arrangement.
