My Experience

Asquith Day Nursery Feb 2009 - 2012

I was part of a team of 4 looking after 32 children. My job involoved having 15 key children, I planned different activities for their abilities and work one to one with each child. Encourgage them to learn numbers and letters and to use many different tools such as scissors and holding a pencile in the correct way.

Been baby sitting since the age of 15, have baby sat for many different families, children renaged from 6 months 10 years. This includes having them through the day taking them to parks, farms and also had them over night at their house which involes giving them tea, giving them a bath and putting them to bed.

I have worked for several different families, all with different aged children, starting from new born to 14. My first family I was with, I looked after two children aged 4 and 6 and was with them for just over a year. My duties with this family where to clean, drop of and pick up from school, cook meals for the children and bath the children. I enjoyed my time with this family as we did many different activities such as soft play, going to the beach, arts and crafts and many more. My next family I worked for I looked after 2 children aged 3 and 5 and my duties are to drop an and pick older one up from school, cook meals and take the younger one to various activities in the day such as, toddler, soft play and the park. The last family I worked for was 9 months old twins and i looked after them till they went to full time school. My duties wherecook meals and take the younger one to various activities in the day such as, toddler, soft play and the park and dropping and picking up from pre-school. I still keep in contact with the family and baby sit for them in the evenings occasionally. I gope to find a family that i enjoy working with again.

My Availability

My name is Gemma. I have been nannying for 10 years, with my level 2 childcare qualification, DBS and I am also first aid trained. I just wanted to let people no that from September 2024 I am available on Wednesdays and Fridays (full time or part time) to join a friendly and loving family.

I would be happy to do light house work and washing for the children and cooking nice fresh meals for the children. I am also happy to take them to music classes, toddler groups, play dates with other children similar to their age, visit to parks and farms and doing activities at home such as arts and crafts and baking.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)

Nanny fees are £13 to £15 per hour after tax
