Pippas Nippers is an Ofsted registered early years childcare setting which is a smoke & pet free environment, offering quality bespoke homebased childcare at affordable prices covering Netherton, Horbury, Middlestown, Lupset, Crigglestone, Ossett and surrounding areas.
You can leave your child/ren safe in the knowledge that they are being cared for by a trained childminder in premises which are suitable and safe for children of all ages.
We like to work in partnership with parents to provide the best possible care and work towards providing a varied curriculum within the EYFS.
We care for children from birth until they attend school and help get them school ready.
We want to help children explore, thrive and enjoy their childhood in as many fun, exciting & imaginative ways as we can.
Life's a learning journey and we love to learn.
My Experience
We are parents to a young man, and grandparents to a beautiful little grand daughter and have spent our lives around children. I have worked as a special needs assistant in a local school, volunteered in school, set up a church playgroup, and run a scout troop.
We are home education friendly having home educated our son and pride ourselves in being a gentle, positive, caring setting.
I am very knowledgable in the milestones of childhood and have knowledge in certain special needs areas.
We also offer daily respite care when ratios permit.
My husband is registered as my assistant so we can now offer better flexibility and extra childcare places, whilst continuing to provide high quality childcare and high adult:child ratios.

Monday to Friday 7.30am-5pm (Variations may be available).
We do not offer wrap around care or school holiday cover as we are an early years setting only.
We do not offer government funded places.

So grateful to have found Pippa. As an anxious first time mum I was quite skeptical about finding someone online who not only made us feel at ease but who was also highly qualified/ experienced. We found both with Pippa.
Our daughter loves her, it’s beautiful to see. Although every day with Pippa is a fun & happy one, Pippa also backs it up with updates on development and milestones which is appreciated.
