My name is Kirsty Ross and I am married to Derek and we have a 18year old daughter Eva.
I am registered through the Scottish Care Inspectorate, am SVQ childcare qualification and I am also in partnership with South Lanarkshire Council so I can proved funded hours.
I provide a warm welcoming and safe enviroment for children and babies of all ages.
I work in partnership with parents to set targets and teach their children following the curriculum while ensure the needs of their children are met.
I have an outgoing personality and am a flexible, trustworthy and reliable person.
I provide healthy food to children in my care and am happy to cater for special diets and individual needs.

My Experience
I previously worked an a Customer Service Manager for a banks and was made redundant in Feb09. I have always enjoyed working with children and thought that this was my opportunity to set up my childminding service - which has been the best choice I have ever made. Every day is different and such fun.
My Qualifications
I am registered through the Scottish Care Commission and I have been throught the Scottish Childminding Association courses. I completed my SVQ in childcare in 2020. I have been rated 5’s and a 6 in my most recent Care Inspectorate inspection.

What an amazing childminder!
We have used Kirsty since my son was 10 months old (aug 2013) and feel like part of the family now.
Liam my son is soo comfortable with Kirsty and she is the most accommodating and flexible childminder.
Any time we have needed extra days either last minute notice or planned Kirsty is able to accommodate when possible.
We have never heard of a childminder from anyone else as Kirsty has the kids out in all weather playing and always away doing something, from forest treks, toddler groups, days away or teaching them simply safety and life skills.
With Liam going up to school soo I know he is sad that he won't get to be with Kirsty all day.
Cannot be without Kirsty.
