About Me
I have been a registered childminder since 1993 so I have lots of experience working with children of all ages. I have 2 daughters. My eldest daughter is a research scientist and my youngest is a qualified primary school teacher. I have been married since 1984. I have public liability insurance and I am a member of PACEY. I drop off/collect from Hill Top Primary Academy. I am registered to accept a variety of different childcare voucher schemes. We are a non-smoking household. Everyone in my household has had a CRB check.
My Experience
Having been a childminder for over 20 years I have a vast amount of experience. I provide a safe, educational, fun and caring environment for children and I value each child as an individual. I provide consistency of care in a relaxed family environment. I believe in praise/rewards as a good behaviour management plan. I thoroughly enjoy my job as a childminder and find it very rewarding. I have lots of references that you are welcome to look at.
My Qualifications
I was graded 'good' in my last Ofsted inspection (2016). I take my job very seriously and am always updating training courses and completing new professional training appropriate to my work. I have a valid emergency first aid certificate. I have Level 2 certificates in Infection Control and Equality and Diversity.
My Availability
I am available to work Monday-Friday 7.30am-6pm.
