About Me
Hi, my name is Bev, I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I live in Great Sutton with my husband Warren three children, James 20, Grace 15, and Hope 14. We live in a 3 bedroomed terrace and have a bus route 100 yards from our house for those parents who do not drive.
I became a registered childminder in May 2010 with the intention of providing a loving caring homely environment for my own and other children. I am fully insured through PACEY (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years), and my husband and I have clear CRB checks. I have undertaken the Introduction to Childminding (ICP), I have a Paediatric 1st Aid Certificate and a Food Hygiene Certificate and have undergone a full medical.
I pick up and drop off at two local schools, Brookside and Wolverham. We walk to school and back (unless the weather is too bad!) as this engages the children in conversation and is obviously the healthier option. I am fully insured to use my car for childminding and take the children out every day to places of interest i.e. parks, zoo, local childminding activity groups, play centres, etc.
My aim is to work in partnership with parents to provide the best possible care and nurturing environment to develop your childs confidence, learning and self esteem. As a parent I understand that your child is the most precious person in your life and I am fully aware of the responsibility that you are trusting me with. I can guarantee your child will be cared for and loved in a happy homely stimulating environment.
I will provide a wide range of activities within my setting including arts and crafts, role play, sand and water activities, playdough, construction, small world, baking to name but a few. Outdoor play is equally important and a large range of outdoor resources will be available. Your child will be encouraged and praised in whatever they choose to do and support will be available when they need it.
I am registered with tax free childcare and i also offer the 2, 3 and 4 year funding.
