About Me
My name is Charlotte Machin & I have spaces at Little Giggles Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays 7.30-5.30 term time only. I have been in childcare since leaving college when I got my Diploma in Nursery Nursing in 1997.
I live with my husband & 3 girls 9, 13 & 14 years.
I have a large variety of toys for different ages & lots of toys in the garden.
There are a few parks in walking distance to me & also the children's centre & library.
I have a 7 seater car & carseats for all ages of children. I enjoy taking the children out to different places the Farm, soft play, toddlers, story time at the library, Chiltern open air museum, RAF museum & Stockwood Park.
I am a 4 minute walk from Yorke Mead Primary School where my daughter goes to school.
My Experience
Camp America. Working as a nanny in an American home with 2 boys as soon as I left college.
Nursery Nurse. Working at Old Macdonalds day nursery. Left because wanted to go back to nannying.
Nannying. Working in people's private homes doing daily activities with the babies and children. I was with my last family for 8 years. Looking after 2 girls aged 8 & 9.
Night nannying. Working with newborns helping them get into good sleeping patterns usualy working 22.00-07.00. Also letting the parents have a well deserved nights sleep & offering help and advise.

Full clean driving licence

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
£7 per hour for school age children before and after school
£7.50 per hour 0-3 years
Includes breakfast & snacks
Also all outings to toddlers, soft play, farm etc
Please provide nappies & wipes if needed and sun cream
Under 1s need to provide formula too
Lunch
Parents still pay if child off ill or on holiday
I do not charge for my holidays or days off. I always try & find alternative childcare if required.

My 2 boys (5 & 2) have been with Charlotte since Jan 2021 and we love her. She helped my youngest settle really quickly into her setting which was great as most of his early life had been during lockdowns. Charlotte has a lovely, kind nature and the children love going. She often takes them to the park or other local groups during the day and she takes my eldest to school each day. I would highly recommend Charlotte to any parent.
