About Me
I HAVE BEEN AN OFSTED REGISTERED CHILDMINDER FOR TWENTY FOUR + YEARS. I WORK WITH MY DAUGHTER WHO IS MY ASSISTANT. SHE HOLDS A DIPLOMA IN HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE AND PSYCHOLOGY AND A DEGREE IN SOCIAL POLICY.
WE PRESENTLY CARE FOR CHILDREN RANGING FROM FIVE MONTHS TO THIRTEEN YEARS.
WE OFFER FULL TIME PLACEMENTS ASWELL AS PART TIME. OUR HOURS ARE 7AM TO 6PM MONDAY TO THURSDAY, FRIDAYS 7AM UNTIL 3.30PM.
WE WORK FROM A PURPOSE BUILT LOG CABIN IN MY GARDEN, WHICH IS ESPECIALLY DESIGNED TO SUIT ALL CHILDREN'S NEEDS, WITH FITTED KITCHEN, BATHROOM, CHANGING AREA AND A SLEEPING AREA FOR THE CHILDREN. WE HAVE A LARGE FULLY ENCLOSED GARDEN WITH AN UNDERCOVER ALL WEATHER MESSY PLAY AREA.
WE OFFER 15 AND 30 HOURS FUNDED CHILDCARE PLACES.
My Experience
WE ATTEND ALL THE TRAINING COURSES AND WORKSHOPS AVAILABLE: FIRST AID, CHILD PROTECTION, SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS AND ALL THE EYFS TRAINING WHICH CAME INTO PRACTICE IN SEPT 2012. WE HAVE ALSO BEEN DBS CHECKED.
My Qualifications
First aid, SEN, child protection, GDPR, FGM, British values, radicalisation, British sign language, css letters and sounds, children with autism, allergies and anaphylatic shock, css schemas, parental drug use/misuse, books and story telling, rhyme sacks, creative recycling, food hygiene (updated when new regulations came out Dec 2014) eyfs training:- eyfs implementation and register, eyfs reflective practice, css eyfs observations, planning,and assesment. Please note this list is not exhaustive. I have twice been graded outstanding by Ofsted and recieved a letter from Her Majesty's Chief Inspector to visit her in London.
My Availability
HOURS 7AM- 6PM MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY, FRIDAYS 7AM- 3.30PM ONLY.
PRESCHOOL RUNS AND SCHOOL DROP OFF/PICKUPS IN OVER ONLY. TERM TIME ONLY CONTRACTS AND SCHOOL HOLIDAY CARE ALSO OFFERED.
