About Me
I am a proud Ofsted Registered Childminder since 2009 and a member of the Professional Association for Early Years and Childcare (PACEY) previously known as NCMA.
I am a mother of two and ensure any children who are under my care are treated as my own, the children’s happiness and wellbeing is of paramount importance to me.
I ensure every child is settled in with happily and at their own pace at my place.
I strongly believe a positive and healthy childhood is a recipe to a successful future. I strive to make a positive and productive day for every children by stimulating them in different activities such as reading, crafting, drawing and outdoor games. A balanced and healthy diet and a daily routine is a important part of this.
Facilities:
I have a large garden with thick artificial grass with a slide and other outdoor toys, as well as a separate room dedicated to children equipped with underfloor heating, a TV and filled with toys. I also have a large sofa-bed and a cot alongside single nursery mattresses for children during resting time. All equipment, including toys, are cleaned thoroughly safely on a daily basis to ensure children are in a germ free environment.
There is also a large park right on my door step where I regularly take children to play, feed the ducks and to show them the little squirrels! (When the weather allows and with parents' permission!)
I offer a healthy and balanced breakfast, lunch and dinner for children of any age. In addition I am able to cater for any special dietary requirements providing the parent(s) mention this in writing to me.
My Experience
Many children in my setting tend to be with me on a long term basis. For instance I had a child who has been cared for by myself since the tender age of 2 months till 9 years of age.
My experience thus ranges from new born babies to toddlers and older children (up to 12 years of age).
I ensure every child meets their own requirements in terms of diet, learning and environment through a pre-care survey.
A diary is kept for every child (with prior authorisation from parents) so all parents are informed of any new things their child may have learned.
My Qualifications
- Pre-school and EYFS
- An introduction to childcare practice.
- The Early Years foundation stage.
- Safeguarding Children
- First Aid qualified (reassessed annually)
- Prevention of allegations against childminders and their families: Developing safe practice.
- Fully insured by PACEY
I take part in regular training with the Royal Borough of Greenwich to ensure my knowledge is up to date and of the highest standard.
My Availability
5 days a week, 7am to 7pm.
FREE 15 - 30 HOUR CHILDCARE AVAILABLE for 2,3 and 4 year olds ( subject to eligibility and availability).
Term time only contracts are also available.
Siblings discount available.
Evenings available. I am usually very flexible providing a reasonable notice is given.
Saturday's can be arranged upon notice, if required.
Sunday is closed, unless its a matter of urgency.

My three children (3, 9 and 11 years) have been looked after by Farida for over 2 years now. I have have found her and her family to be outstanding. I have complete piece of mind knowing my children are been well taken care of. Thank you Farida

fahida looked after my girls for me when I started my degree. was very flexible and worked around my hours especially when on placement. She was lovely warm person and her children were also very friendly and my girls enjoyed being around fahida and her family. I would highly recommend fahida.
