My Experience

I have over 17 years experience working with children aged 0-17 years.

I have had experience as a deputy manager within a private day care nursery. I worked there for 8 years previous to registering as a Childminder in 2011.

During my time as a childminder, I have cared for many children with English as an additional language, supported children with speech and language difficulties and cared for very young babies, in my 'home from home' environment as well as children with complex physical disabilities.

I am a great lover of the outdoors having completed my Forest School Training. I feel the outdoors are an essential part of a child's development.

We go out daily for local walks, trips to town, playgroups, other childminder meet ups and local garden centres / play centres as well as lots of age appropriate resources, crafts, cooking and fun!

Within the years I have gained vast amounts of knowledge about the way children behave and stages within their development and how to help them progress. I still continue to learn new things each and everyday as a childcare provider and as a mother myself.

All certificates & references from my previous employer & parents of children I've cared for can be viewed during the initial visit.

My Qualifications

-At my most recent Ofsted inspection February 2023 I was very proud to receive a 'GOOD' grading. A copy of my report can be viewed online or requested on visit

-I am Accredited / registered to provide Nursery Education Places for 2-3 years and 3-4 year old funding and 9+ months as of September 2024 when this is introduced.

-I hold a BTEC LEVEL 3 Certificate in Early Years - 2005

-NVQ Level 3 Management / Key Skills Level 2 in Mathematics and Literacy

-Up to date First Aid Training / Epi Pen & Volumatic Inhaler Administration

-Certificate in Good Practice for Child Minders

-Training as an ECERS Auditor

-8 GCSE's C & above

-Up to date training in the EYFS, SENCO & Safeguarding / Child Protection

-up to date Level 2 in Food Safety and Catering

-Level 2 forest school training

My Availability

My normal opening hours are Monday to Friday 8am-6pm but I do provide care out of these hours if needed. Having worked with many families who are shift workers, I completely understand the need for flexibility of normal working hours.

I currently collect from St Joseph's R.C Primary School in Droitwich but other schools are always a possibility depending on open and closing times.

I offer the following services as extras:

-overnight care
-pick ups and drop offs to the child's home if needed (a small additional charge MAY apply depending on where you are)
-a babysitting service within your home

My Fees

• Childminding from £5.50 per hour

I do not currently have many sessions available but please just give me a call and we can discuss your needs.

I currently charge £5.50 per hour for all year round contracts and £6.50 for term time only contracts. This includes all activities and outings. For special trips, additional costs may apply, but these are optional.

I provide Nursery Education Funding for 2, 3 & 4 year olds and accept payment through the tax free childcare scheme and other voucher companies.

For after school care I charge
£10 - 3pm - 4.30pm - includes a healthy snack
£12 - 3pm - 5.00pm - includes a light tea
£15 - 3pm-6pm - includes home cooked evening meal (served at 4.45pm)

For early years children I provide all food within my hourly rate.

Unfortunately, as this is a small family run business I cannot provide a reduction for siblings as I have limited spaces available.

My parents have always valued my flexibility so please discuss your needs with me once an initial visit has been booked.
