About Me
Hi my name is Donna I am a Ofsted registered and live in west end Oswaldtwistle. I live with my partner of 15 years, I have 3 children, Chloe 21, Mason 10 and Willow 4
My aim is to provide a home from home nurturing environment where children feel comfortable, safe and secure at all times, they are happy and content and are provided with stimulating learning opportunities.
I have a purpose built playroom with an enclosed outdoor play area that is safe and secure.
I provide a daily routine and environment in which children normally encounter with their own family through everyday activities such as visiting friends, walks, toddler groups and stimulating play.
I hope to ensure the children in my care develop intellectually, creatively, socially, emotionally and physically through everyday routines and planned and unplanned activities by means of age appropriate toys and resources. All activities are centred around children's interests and their unique personalities while also implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage.
My Experience
My childcare experience has to be raising my own children, looking at how they have confidently progressed and how they are still progressing, this has inspired me to be a childminder, knowing I can do the same with other children.
I believe in working in partnership with parents; welcoming ideas and encouraging parents to provide me with comments and suggestions in their child's contact books or when they have time to talk. I am committed to providing a reliable service that parents can depend on and in which they can place their confidence.
As a Registered Childminder I can provide care for children from birth to twelve years old in a home environment. I am happy to take on any child within my registered numbers and will not discriminate against children or their families for reasons such as race, religion, sex or ability.
My Qualifications
Required pre-registration courses.
BA (Hons) in Early Years Childhood Studies
Level 6 Early Years Childhood studies.
Paediatric first aid course.
Safeguarding level 1,2 and 3
Food hygiene.
Early language and development course
Child exploitation and Online Safety
My Availability
Monday- Friday 7am- 6pm, however I can be flexible and could also work weekends.
I have full and part- time places available for children aged between 0-14 years, I also cover school holidays.
