About Me
Hi, I'm an Ofsted registered childminder, since April 2003 and have cared and worked with children since 1990. I have been registered with surrey county council since 2002. also registered on surrey county council childcare list , I'm married and we have 4 children, two of whom are in education and two in work. I offer a high standard of childcare and offer many activities for the children to take part in, such as outside play, arts and crafts, cooking, reading, park visits, local library, Wisley gardens , Brooklands museum feeding the ducks , I do a daily diary sheet which I record sleep, nappies changes, if we have been out and where we have been , lunches and any other notable details. I currently use the program Baby Days to update policies, procedures and invoices
We four Labrador;s dogs/puppies in total Chester born 25th January 2019 , black Labrador Charlie who was born 27th march 2020 his very happy and very obedient and the puppies both much smaller breed Labradors [ Lemmy and Ozzie ] who were born in July 2024 they are very exciable and affectionate they are great with general commands and they are very friendly with the children they loves to play outside they have the top of the garden outside and the office during the day generally when the days i work , they are welcoming to come into say hello as they love cuddles ,we have a Rabbit called Kanger born November 2021 who is very sociable, we have rehomed an Amazing 2yr male cat called Toffee 2023 and rehomed a kitten 01/12/23 called Inky they are both very soft and affectionate cats though they are usually upstairs during my working day ,the children are always supervised if the pets are walking through to go out when they are indoors with us , all the pets are closely monitored when interaction with the children, We have a high up fish pond built up 5ft high the children enjoying seeing them swimming in the pond and are always held and when we look at them .We learn about all the animals their foods and habitat's and how to care for them .

My Experience
I have worked with children for many years before becoming a childminder. I've worked in nurseries, Pre-schools and at a centre for children with learning difficulties. I have also volunteered at the local primary school (St. Marys) and help with reading and school trips. As such I have a broad experience of caring for children of all ages and understanding their different needs. Children grow and develop in a caring and loving home environment. I make sure the children need's are met to the best of my ability. While also encouraging children of all ages learning is fun through lots of different actives and experience.
My Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 and 3 In Early Years and Education ,First Aid ,Developing Parental Partnership ,Food Hygiene,City and Guilds in Practical Caring Skills (2 Credits ) Level 1 and Level 2 (1 Credit and 1 Distinction) ,safe guarding is always updated as well as my First Aid.

Zoe is the most wonderful childminder. Both my boys loved going to her. Albie my youngest still goes to her from time to time and he always has the best time. She is so caring, kind and nurturing and the days they had there were so fun. Zoe provides a large variety of activities for them to do and she takes them on great outings and trips to the parks. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a childminder.

Zoe now looks after both my daughters and I couldn’t be happier. Zoe is kind, loving and nurturing. She does so many fun things with them and keeps a helpful diary. The girls love her and so do I.

Can’t recommend Zoe highly enough. Zoe looked after our little boy from 8 months and he was so happy...made returning back to work after maternity leave that but easier knowing he was happy. His day was filled and Zoe always updated his book so you’d know what he’d been up to, how he was eating etc. Unfortunately we moved away from the area so didn’t need Zoe any more.

Zoe is an absolutely fantastic childminder. She looked after our little boy from around a year old and she settled him quickly. He was very happy with ‘Zozo’ and had lovely opportunities to play with and learn from the other children Zoe looks after. Zoe is great at communicating each day how he had been and the sorts of things he had done. Above all, she was so kind and loving towards him which meant I felt happier to leave him. I would highly recommend Zoe.

Zoe looked after my 2 young boys and they were really happy and well looked after. Lots of activities were organised for them which is really good.
I work on a shift rota and had to get my boys up really early and zoe is very understanding and had them really early for me and worked round my rota. Unfortunitely my circumstances changed and therefore didnt need her anymore but i would truly recommend her and if i needed a childminder again zoe would be the person i would go to first if she was available.

Zoe is a wonderful person who cares for her childminded children as she cares for her own. She creates a wonderful home-from-home feeling yet provides lots of fun learning activities throughout the day. She respects each child's individuality and is empathic and responsive to their needs. When I pick my little girl up she always gives Zoe a big hug and I can see that she is genuinely fond of her. Zoe writes a diary for each child to take home and so I always know what my daughter has been doing, what she has been learning and even what she has eaten. I am so happy that I found Zoe because I leave my daughter confident that she will be cherished and nurtured.
