About Me
Hello my name is Karen and im a Ofsted registered childminder in the Grappenhall area of Warrington. I live within a row of cottages with my son with lot's of countryside around us, with farms close by where we see endless tractors, combines and other machinery.
Lots of our time is spent outdoors. We visit farms, parks, groups
I have lots of toys games and activities to suit all ages with a large back garden that has ride on's, scooters and climbing equipment.
Our days are structured and we have good routines. In the holidays we go for lots of days out. I encourage healthy eating and plenty of exercise.
I have a happy and loving disposition and enjoy life. I am reliable ,trustworthy and honest and pride myself on someone you can depend on. I have a fantastic sickness record which all my parents will vouch for.
I love my job and i work hard and i think it shows when you see how happy both my parents are and their children.

I have worked as a childminder since 2011
I have experience as a assistant for other childminders.
Previously worked as a receptionist for our local doctors surgery.

Level 3 NVQ
Peadiatric first aid
Level 2 food safety and hygiene for catering

Full /part time place available from September 2024

Karen is amazing with my boys, she takes them to different places each week, they play and learn, they create lovely pictures and cards on special occasions. They always come home happy and I can rest knowing they are in the best care. She's a huge help to us and we're really glad it's her that looks after our children!

Karen has looked after my daughter for almost 2 years, and in that time I have enjoyed watching my daughter build close relationships with other children at the setting and with Karen herself. My daughter loves attending, in the holidays she will often say she wants to go to Karen's. They are always out and about and each day is different. She provides wide and varied educational experiences.
I think the best thing about Karen's Childminding is Karen herself. She is loving, friendly and genuinely loves looking after the children. I am very thankful that I met Karen and that she was able to look after my daughter in such a super way!
