About Me
Hello, my name is Celma. I am an OFSTED Registered Childminder, and with NVQ3 in Caring for Children and Young People. I have my Day Care in beautiful houses in Crystal Palace near Rackmount primary school, with a safe and friendly neighbourhood with parking access. I offer a high level of care for children in a secure, structured, caring home environment with plenty of activities to keep the little ones busy and happy :0).
All activities are based on the EYFS and are age related to the children's stage of development. The house has two dedicated playrooms with a variety of age appropriate toys and a child friendly garden. The children will learn through play, and the days will be pre-planned and structured.
I am a member of local playgroups/child centres and often visit the local library, some of the playgroups I have to pay, and the costs are covered by the parents. I also take the children to the park or sometimes we take the bus 450 which they really like it to Crystal Palace for a walk and that way we also make the days pleasant and different.
All the assistants working with me, they are very friendly experience and active people. They have the DBS check from Ofsted, the paediatric first aid and safeguarding course.
I live 10 minutes walking from Crystal palace and 15 minutes to Gypsy Hill train station and 15 minutes from Crystal Palace Parade Bus station. by car, it's around 5 minutes.

I have over 19 years of experience in childcare, covering 6 month to 8 years old.
I have worked as a Child carer for different families throughout the years with good references and great memories, including caring for triplets from the age of 8 months util the age of 4, in recent years a have dedicated myself and trained to work with vulnerable and long term disabled children,and know the time came to open my own business part of a long professional dream of mine.

Monday to Friday, work hours 8 am to 6 pm,/ but sometimes I can open at 7.30 am if the parents need early drop.

Occasional days, School half term or Summer holiday's (need to book at list 4 week's before, and pay £25 deposit, if cancel less then 2 weeks before the date, I will not return the money). For 4 to 5 day's £52 daily - less then 4 day's £60 per day.

The play group that the children attend parents need to pay and if the assistants need to take the bus I charge £2.10 for the assistants bus ticket more the playgroup.

Celma and her team are passionate about the holistic development of all the children in their care and work hand in hand with parents.
My spirited and lively daughter enjoyed going to nursery everyday and became better at voicing her needs and wants, making friends and dealing with disagreements with peers. She was guided with her big emotions by Celma and her team and they ensured they kept all the children’s best interests at heart. My daughter was there for over nine months and it really was a second home and greeted Celma and her team like they were family.
I loved all the lovely art she would create during the week and their trips to the local park and all the enjoyable times they had playing in the garden. My daughter’s numeracy and phonic skills improved and she would walk home with me singing songs and remembering phrases from stories they learned that day. She would also speak in different languages such as good morning in Italian, Portuguese and Greek as they do their good morning song in different languages. As a primary school teacher, I was impressed with both her academic and social development with her time at Celma’s.
The food was always prepared with loving care and my daughter enjoyed the homemade soups and hot meals that Celma would freshly prepare.
Celma had excellent communication with parents and dealt with any concerns swiftly and professionally. We would still have our daughter attend Celma’s only for we moved away from Crystal Palace. We will always remember our time with Celma fondly and appreciate all the hard work her and her team do everyday. ✨✨ I cannot recommend her highly enough. 😊

Celma looked after our youngest for over 2 years and we couldn’t recommend her and the team enough. Every morning at drop off our pick up Eloise always had a huge smile on her face.
Celma and her team always had great activity’s planned and providing amazing food.
We found Celma and the team to communicate really well what they had done each day with a great follow up email each day.
Eloise still asks when she is going back to see Celma which is a true sign of how amazing her time was.

Our daughter attended Celma’s for almost 2 years and we have been so happy with her care. Celma is such a warm and welcoming person. Her setting and her assistants are wonderful and our daughter has been so happy there. I have always felt very comfortable dropping her off there knowing that she is in safe hands and will thoroughly enjoy her day. We have recently moved out of London, and are incredibly sad that are daughter has had to leave. I would highly recommended Celma, our next childminder has a lot to live up to!

My daughter Zae started with Celma when she was just over a year old. I was really nervous about the process but Celma and the girls could not have made it an easier transition. She coached me through every step of the way and went above and beyond to make sure both Zae (and mama!) settled in well. Her communication and responsiveness is excellent. As others have mentioned I felt an immediate warmth and family atmosphere as soon as I first walked in and I knew it was the right place. The house is spacious and immaculate and the garden is so big and exciting for the kids. I love the care Celma takes around food and nutrition too, always giving the kids a vegetable based soup first to get their veggies in before moving on to the 'second plate', a genius tip I have now stolen! Thank you again Celma, i'm really sad we had to move away and very grateful for the time Zae had with you.

Our son has been with Celma for almost 3 years and we are really thankful for the love and care that Celma and her beautiful team has given to him. He is always joyful to start his day with them.
Very creative ideas and wonderful activities, a very safe and constructive environment.
Amazing food, healthy snacks.
Our son also enjoys the many arts and crafts that Celma does with the children as well as singing and dancing.
I highly recommend Celma to anyone who wants a loving, caring, stimulating environment for their child.

Celma and her amazing team have looked after both my daughters over the last 6 years. I cannot express how incredible they are. They are my girls’ second family, and have become good friends to me. The house is like a home from home. The children are so well cared for, but more than that - they are so loved there. Both of my girls loved it there - they spent their days painting, playing dress up, playing in the huge garden, learning about certain activities and topics and making great friends. The food is wonderful, and most importantly I trust all of the team implicitly. My children have moved into school now, but they both still pop there for the odd inset day and love it! I really cannot recommend Celma and her team highly enough!

Celma and her team looked after our daughter from when she was 10 months to 3 years! Celma and her team are so friendly, warm and welcoming. Our daughter took part in lots of creative activities and would bring home wonderful things she had made at Celma’s. Celma has a great set up with lots of toys and a fantastic garden - Celma would regularly send pictures of the children playing, having so much fun. Despite being a fussy eater at home, our daughter would eat everything at Celma’s!
One of the best things for me about Celma’s was that it was a homely childminder setting but with about 6-9 children so there was more opportunity to socialise and interact with other children, but still in small, safe environment. ALL the carers who were alongside Celma were absolutely fantastic.
We were very emotional to leave when it was time to start preschool.

We have been incredibly happy with the care Celma and her team have provided for our son Ellis. Ellis was with with Celma for over a year. We always found the day to day care and communication to be wonderful. We were always updated in person in the morning and afternoon, and via emails and texts. We received daily great communication about food, naps, nappy changes, daily activities and general well being. Celma always had time to talk through anything and often has lovely stories to share. Celma’s team are always very friendly and helpful, and together they all create a very nurturing, safe, warm environment.
We know Ellis received lots of love, fun, warmth and kind guidance at Celma’s. We were often sent photos and messages of him doing really fun activities around themes like shapes, colours, numbers. We knew Ellis was having a fun time, he loved the dancing, music and gymnastics. Celma’s set up is great and the garden is a wonderful space. Celma kept us well updated with the weekly activity plans and menus.
We have felt very confident in Celma to provide safe childcare and we have been kept incredibly well informed about everything.
Most importantly we knew Ellis was safe in a very warm, happy, loving environment where his individual needs are met. Celma and her team are wonderful!

My son stayed with Celma over 2 years, from when he could barely sit up to when he was ready to start preschool at 3 years old. Thanks to Celma and her wonderful carers Lucas is a confident, chatty and happy boy. It honestly felt like a second home for us and not once did we have tears in the morning- he was always very excited to start his day there and I know he received excellent care. Thank you so much :)

Our son has been at Celma’s for a year and is only leaving because we want to move him onto a larger nursery. Celma is fantastic at communicating (making her really easy to work with) and it’s clear that both she and everyone who works with her love all the children they look after.
