About Me
I am 30 years old with a son who is 11 and starting secondary school in september. I live in gosple oak (near kentish town) right by kentish town city farm and hamstead heath. I'm looking for nannying roles. I love animals, walking, swimming, cooking (love cooking and eating) and i am also a qualified riding instructor (horses) so love being outdoors. I am kind, caring, quietly spoken and fair. My attendance and punctuality are excellent and I am always willing to do my best at any task set for me. I am a native English speaker and I can help with homework and development of the child/children. I am now looking for hours from 8am to 5pm/6pm 4 days a week term time only. I will consider Mornings in the school holidays for the right family.
My Experience
I have my own child and also took a 10 week parenting course which advised us how to cope with difficult behavior praise and suitible repremand (time out,naughtystep) and also how to praise and encourage good behavior (sticker charts,rule charts ect which all added up to a small prize at the end of the week). I ran the under 5 play group at kentish town city farm for a short while (maternity cover) and have looked after children of all ages since I was 15 ( babysitting watching children that have been left at the farm) I have worked part time at a school in marylebone with children with special needs (autisum,dysbraxsia,musclar dystraphy and adhd) I also worked with and supervised adults at the farm with learning difficulties. I have worked as a carer mainly for the past 8 years and I have manual handling certificates, peg feed training and medication experience. I recently left a wonderful family as their after school nanny due to personal circumstances. I am avalible to start work from 01/11/19 I have excellent references and am willing to do any further courses if required
My Qualifications
I have a GNVQ level 2 in health and social care and I am DBS checked and St John's ambulance first aid qualified.
My Availability
I am avalible from 8 am to 5 ish can be flexible but would like to spend time with my son in the evening. 4 days a week flexible what days. term times only
