Hi my name is Karen and have been registered as a childminder for 34 years. I am married with 3 children and live in Thornbury. I provide a safe happy and secure environment for children, where they can learn and grow and have fun. I offer a wide range of excellent resources, access to both indoors and outdoors, as well as lots of trips and outings. I use the whole of the ground floor for childminding plus a bedroom for rests. The back garden if fully enclosed for outdoor play. My home is within walking distance of the local schools, pre-schools, toddler groups and local shops. I belong to our local childminding groups and am a member of PACEY. (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years)
My Experience
I have been a registered childminder for 34 years so have lots of experience with babies, toddlers and school age children. I have been inspected by Ofsted and achieved an outstanding grade in all areas.
My Qualifications
I have undergone various training. This includes Paediatric First-Aid Safeguarding. All my certificates are available for you to see.
My Availability
I offer full-time, part-time and before and after school care. I work from 7.30am - 4pm Monday to Wednesday.
