About Me
My name is Daniella Elliott and I am an Ofsted registered childminder working to provide a safe, secure and friendly environment that has a good parent partnership.
I have access for children to be outdoors as much as possible, we also regularly go on ‘wonder walks’ where we discuss, find and wonder about the world around us. Children can be involved in care for animals, encouraging empathy and kindness. We have a very friendly dog that is housed away from children's play spaces, we also have chickens for the children to see and collect eggs daily.
I offer support for individual needs and development in line with the early years foundation stage, a separate area for children needing daytime sleep, a large grassed and decked garden to play in, a healthy, varied menu of breakfast, evening meal and snacks which are included in prices. Parents to provide a healthy, nutritious lunch.
At my most recent ofsted inspection I received a good overall, June 2023.
I am also involved with the Derbyshire county councils quality assurance scheme allowing us to offer to parents the educational funding from the childcare setting within term time for some 2 year olds and all 3&4 year olds instead of your child attending a regular school nursery we can offer smaller numbers giving each child time to develop on an individual basis
My Experience
- I have private day care experience working with a variety of ages from 0- 5 years.
- 2 years experience of working within the baby area in the nurseries.
- Experience in dealing with severe allergies, dietary requirements, additional needs including autism and senco training.
- Actively worked with the early years foundation stage to support children's development.
- I also have my own child so have recently been through all the new procedures when caring for a new born

£44 full day - 10 hour day
£30 short day - 9am to 3.30pn
£5.00 any additional hours or per hour before and after School

When I returned to work I wasn't keen on a nursery setting for my baby girl. As soon as I met Daniella I was at ease straight away Daniella is lovely and is amazing with the children. My baby girl loves going and is always smiling and happy.
The playroom is lovely with a little treehouse homecorner and lots of different activities and a great garden for the children. They go on outdoor walks and outings as well which is great.
I feel relaxed while I'm at work knowing she is being well cared for it doesn't feel like I'm dropping her off at child minder it's home from home.
I can't recommend Daniella enough she is absolutely amazing, genuine, caring, loving and supportive person.

Oh that’s so lovely thank you so very much and I am really glad your transition back to work was made that little bit easier with your baby girl settling so well. She really is a bundle of happiness and I am so glad you decided to start.
Thank you for such kind works. I do love what I do
My youngest has been going to Daniella’s house since September. I was worried about leaving him at first because he really was not used to being around anyone other than his immediate family.
However, I need not have worried as Daniella made him feel really welcome and he settled in brilliantly. After only a couple of weeks, I was able to hand him over without tears. Now, his face lights up when he recognises the house and he greets her with a big smile.
I looked around a couple of nurseries before meeting her but definitely preferred the home from home environment. She has a lovely outdoor play space in her garden for the children to play in and a play room with lots of sensory activities.
I always feel as though he’s safe and well looked after. He’s always tired out when he comes home, as he’s been so busy exploring.
I would recommend Daniella to anyone looking for a childminder for their children.

Daniella was the second childminder i visited when looking for one my little girl is 2 and half years old. As soon as we walked in her home & met her i was sure she was the right one we was looking for lovely clean, well organised smoke free home. She was loving & caring, is well attentive to childrens needs. Daniella provides a very well set out 2 weekly meal menu. Also works towards the EYFS doing a wide range of activties with the children both indoor & out. She also offers a dairy so i know what my little girl has been doing through out the day & any notes i want to make incase of in a rush in the morning. My little girl was so settled tgat when it came to leaving she wanted to stay. She is looking forward to spending her days with daniella :) so pleased we found her!
