About Me
I am a qualified nanny with over 30 years experience of looking after children of all ages. I have a valid dbs check. I enjoy setting up play activities both inside and outside in a safe and secure environment and taking the children in my care on trips.out to the library or parks. I have a good sense of humour, am reliable cheerful and patient. I am very nurturing with the children in my care. I am firm but will use praise with children and set positive boundaries so that children feel secure. I believe that a flexible routine helps children to know what is happening next throughout the day. I enjoy spending time outside going for walks and love all animals.
My Experience
As an experienced nanny of 30 years I have worked with children of all ages within the home environment from birth to school age. I am used to having sole charge of children while their parents work or doing evening/weekend babysitting so parents can have a break from routine.

My Qualifications
NNEB 1982-84 a two year full time course equivalent to level 3 btec or Cache diploma. I am qualified to work with children from birth to seven years within hospital, school, playscheme or home environment.
My Availability
At present I am available for part time evening daytime and weekend nannying/babysitting on a regular or adhoc basis. I can do after school bookings and emergency cover but prefer to have a minimum booking of at least three hrs. I can offer school holiday cover too. As I am looking for part time work I would be available for a maximum of 6 hrs per day but can do less if needed.

Elaine is an excellent, reliable and very attentive nanny. She has looked after my children on an ad hoc basis for five years. She always attends to their needs, plays with them and is nurturing whilst ensuring discipline. She first looked after my eldest son and has since looked after my youngest since he was 6 weeks old and i always feel confident leaving them in her care. She is also always quick to respond to messages.
